Our pres may seem like a frikin genius to you ...everything being relative and all , but to most people, he's an idiot ...with enough skeletons hanging around to make him most usable. ----------------------- "O brave new world that has such people in it".

I think lowtimers and those who did a few tandems should be most welcomed. If learning is your key point, the way to do that is do more listening and less talking. ----------------------- "O brave new world that has such people in it".

How else would an alcoholic, drug addict, deserter have made it that far if it wasn't for the people who reaalized just how usable he would be in office? It was some pretty smart fellers that put the fucking idiot in the office. ----------------------- "O brave new world that has such people in it".

Just curious. Where do you believe the buck stops??? Well, I certainly wouldn't blame the CEO of Boeing for problems in the mail room. I'd most likely start with the mail clerks or their supervisor, being rational and all. Of course, when you've got a personal grudge with the CEO, it's natural to blame him for any/every little thing - it's understandable. It's also treatable with the proper medications, I understand. So, when widescale corruption is revealed, you'd find some flunky in the mailroom to blame ...got it. Nice try for a misdirect - re-read my post and try again, without the drama. For a start, maybe you could try showing where the CEO had any direct involvement with the operation of the mailroom before you start calling for his head on a stake. After that, maybe you could actually gain an understanding of how the mail room operates and who oversees the mail clerks and is responsible for how they conduct their duties. Bush is no more "responsible" for the contract fiascos in Iraq than Clinton was for the KBR/Dyncorp fiascos in Bosnia and Kosovo - neither had any direct involvement in the procurement or operation of the contracts - those actions and responsibilities lie further down the chain. Of course, by admittting to that truth, you can't scream about how Bush and/or the republicans and/or "the fringe right" are to blame for all the ills of the world, so I really don't expect any sort of thought to be expended on it nor any sort of honest answer. you need to see widespread corruption as a little problem in the mailroom ...OK, got it, we understand your need to keep your ideology intact. How bout that Nazi genocide thing? A little pest control problem in the basement? ----------------------- "O brave new world that has such people in it".

Of all the ...odors we endure on the way to altitude, you pick tobacco as the one you hate?!?!?!? Yes! So, um, when you feel the need to fart, do you step into the closet and close the door?

Much second hand smoke data is the liberal equivalent to the neocon 'Iraq is an immediate threat'. I'm not interested in being involved with or kissing a smoker but if they want to smoke in a reasonable environment ...more power to em. Can I smell the tobacco ...yes. Is it a big deal ...no. Do I have an emotional reaction to smokers ...no. ----------------------- "O brave new world that has such people in it".

My guess is that no one in this thread (including myself) even knows which pictures were actually pulled from the gallery. So we've basically formed opinions about things that we've never even seen, and now we're arguing about it. Pretty unusual for SC, eh? Then post a site for the ones you say YOU have seen. ----------------------- "O brave new world that has such people in it".

Post a site ...please! I'll be honest, I suspect you have never seen them. ----------------------- "O brave new world that has such people in it".

I want someone who is much more than an eloquent speaker in the White House. I want someone who is much more than a junior senator from Illinois. I want someone who didn't get his start in Chicago politics. I want someone who didn't spend 20 years listening to a raving lunatic like the Reverend White. And the list keeps getting bigger every day. Sugar coat it all you wish. Most of understand what it is you want ...and don't want. ----------------------- "O brave new world that has such people in it".

I sincerely don't intend this as a personal slap, but I'm wondering if there is any connection between amassing a "fairly impressive" porn collection and sexualizing the photos in question. just didnt want you to get the wrong impression after you said i was preaching morals.... My question is more centered around whether someone who collects porn has a distorted view of nudity, of women and of sex. ----------------------- "O brave new world that has such people in it".

The Psychologist says, "Well let's see what we can find out", and pulls out his ink blots. "What is this a picture of?" he asks. The man turns the picture upside down then turns it around and states, "That's a man and a woman on a bed making love." The Psychologist says, "very interesting," and shows the next picture. "And what is this a picture of?" The man looks and turns it in different directions and says, "That's a man and a woman on a bed making love." The Psychologists tries again with the third ink blot, and asks the same question, "What is this a picture of?" The patient again turns it in all directions and replies, "That's a man and a woman on a bed making love." The Psychologist states, "Well, yes, you do seem to be obsessed with sex." "Me!?" demands the patient. "You're the one who keeps showing me the dirty pictures!" ----------------------- "O brave new world that has such people in it".

I don't see the problem. It's not like they were firing guns.

You "ASS-Umed" that it *had* to be all about the guns since it was a bunch of "far far right" types that were commenting on the video? As usual, your bias is plainly visible....and repugnant. You're right, of course. How silly of me to think otherwise. ----------------------- "O brave new world that has such people in it". -

Uh, you did watch the video referenced in the original post of this thread yes? If you do not understand the visual imagery of that piece, then I'd say that you probably should take at least an art appreciation class or two. The guns in that video CLEARLY represent male sexual organs, if you don't think so, there is really something wrong with your ability to recognize similes. I can pretty much guarantee you that the director of the piece, the editor of the piece, the women involved in the piece and 99% of everyone else involved understood it. No, I haven't - youtube and other streaming video sites are blocked over here. I have seen bits of "stacked and packed" videos, however, and I imagine this isn't much different. Kindly explain how this video is any different than the "imagery" or "art" of a stripper writhing against / caressing a pole. What I am objecting to is jenfly's typical stereotyping of conservatives - do you have a problem with that? Correction. I'm only referring to the ones responding to this particular clip with a degree of sexual heat, mentally reviewing their political leaning from their posting history and assumed there must be some sort of heightened sexuality for them. I don't hear of the 'usual lefties' smacking their chops uttering "oooooo baby!" ...do you? ----------------------- "O brave new world that has such people in it". -

I've not seen anything close to that... what sort of twisted porn are YOU watching? Which brings us right to the banks of that HUGE river in Africa. ----------------------- "O brave new world that has such people in it". -

Guns as neocon Viagra? And there's the backhanded reference to the Freud misquote from one of the usual suspects...imagine that. I was merely referring to the frequent use of 'guns as sexual aids' that so many on the far, far right seem to require. As billvon says, there's nothing wrong with that. More power to ya! As for Freud, I disagree with his concept of 'penis envy'. Freud postulates that it is limited to women and clearly we see here ...that is not the case. [NOW, you have your reference ...big boy] ----------------------- "O brave new world that has such people in it". -

I think it's a most entertaining show! I've watched them film on several occasions on Miami Beach and was 'selected' to be one of the women walking away from the scene (BN is know for it's beach um..scenery shots) in 'False Flag'. Did anyone spot Fiona ( Gabrielle Anwar ) as Al Pacino's tango partner in 'Scent of a Woman'? ----------------------- "O brave new world that has such people in it".
