Until tommorow, game programmer, as of tommorow, snowboarder, several weeks after that, game programmer. It's a terrible life, I tell ya!

the 800's are the baby brother of the 1000's which are the CD only version of the DVJs (only audio, no visuals). New kit, new tracks, and only started this a few months ago. Much learning still needed.

Just tested it again - I clicked on the 'Free' Button at the bottom of the box titled, "Feature - Overview Premium Free" after the "You want to download Demo0-9.mp3" text. Wait a minute while it counts down, enter the pictured string in the dialogue, and Windows prompts me to save the file to disk. Hmm....Rapidshare no like everyone? "blow the dust off some hardcore CDs" Hey, one thing positive came of my efforts already.

Just snagged my second MK2 Sunday, grabbed a few tracks from BeatPort and went to town. It needs work, yes I know. That's why it's 0_9 - as in 0.9. But if you wanna give it a gander - it's about an hour long, starts off with a few Deep House Tracks, followed by some Electro/Tech stuff and finishes with some Tribal. http://rapidshare.com/files/2325732/Demo0-9.mp3

Heh - she does the hair, the chicks in the pics are a few of her models. She does do some modelling on the side, but mostly focuses on styling and stuff. I do plan to have a chat with her about where a few of her 'girls' came from

I've got enough relatives like that - sub-criminal sociopaths, and a schizophenic or two mixed in for spice - makes family gatherings quite the event.

We've all been there, blonde-esque moments that is - not eeneR's place.

Spun for the first time in front of a real crowd, drank way too much, got woken up 15 minutes ago to 'BOOOM!...BOOM! BOOMBOOMBOOM!' - thinking 'Oh sh*t, someone just blew up one of the cruise ships in the harbour'. Nope - they just decided to implode a 6 story building that they are turning into a high rise condo block - 1 f'ing block away from me - at 830 in the morning. And the dust cloud cometh...

Japanese blades ... everybody needs a hobby I guess

Montreal - definitely. Don't come to Vancouver, we don't need the housing prices to go any higher with more people here.

She's 3 years younger, does modeling and is a hair stylist. She's the smarter and better looking one out of the two of us.

Random questions from reading the forums...

One ride at altitude, I managed to get coverage from a US cell site, while still on the Canadian side. Once down on the ground, my phone had a text message from Cingular saying, 'Welcome to the network' - cost me one of my alloted TM's for the month -
:3:0 More tandems from EA got to go out and play. One of the lads at the DZ even offered a coach jump while I was working on my sit. Yay! Got called back to work *boo!*, was there till 1AM, they tried calling at 0230 to get me to come back, luckily I forgot my cell at my desk. Back today, got it all resolved and sent out an email to the effect of - 'if you love me, you will buy me this' and sent a link to one of the Matter Freefly suits (I figured I earned it with working every day since Aug 5th and putting in some long nights including one that went from 9AM on a Thursday till 6 AM on a Friday, then back in at 9AM on the same Friday). More tandems to go up this Sunday coming, maybe even one or two of the previous tandems will be up for the FJC.

Anyone else stayin' in on this lovely Sat. night?
GrumpySmurf replied to ntrprnr's topic in The Bonfire
Was at DZ - just finished packing, got call from work - "we have a crash, we need you in to fix it." So, I guess being at work qualifies as 'staying in'. -
First impressions of the Spectre 135 - Interesting Openings

Dude, In the end - it is a decision you have to make, and if in the end, the discussion here caused you to learn a little more, even better. The instructors you have are top notch, I trained under them many a moon ago and if they said to me, "We feel you are capable of handling this canopy", I would give it serious weight as well. -
Good skiing in Vancouver, BC during early March?
GrumpySmurf replied to kelel01's topic in The Bonfire
The local hills, Cypress and Grouse are hit and miss from year to year. Grouse is packed with the 80 pound meatmissles during the spring break time. Cypress is ok - half the hill is decent for boarders - the other half is mostly black diamonds and just plain annoying to run. Go fast, falldown, get up, rinse, repeat. Whistler/Blackcomb is pretty much the best bet locally - though the S2S can be anything from a 1.5 hrs drive to a 7 hrs drive, depending on how many accidents occur that day - and how bad they are. You'll find better quality snow further inland, so I hear from the regular boarders here at work - in around Kelowna has earned a decent reputation - I have yet to make a trip that far in, perhaps next year - so I can't vouch for it firsthand.
