While I disagree with you even with regards to the fact that even spiritual wisdom being provided by some higher being, I reckon this seems to be a very valid, balanced viewpoint that allows the coexistence of science and religion, unlike so many posters here. Nice one. if more people stopped treating the bible as a science textbook then religion would retain much more credibility. Never try to eat more than you can lift

I don't know much about competitive weight lifting. Was that a clean-and-jerk or a snatch? if thats a serious question, it was a clean and jerk. if not, then see the post above Never try to eat more than you can lift

yeah the thought had crossed my mind On a serious note, NZ obviously has its issues and problems, but i love the fact that one of the stories in the primary news site was this yesterday: http://www.stuff.co.nz/dominion-post/news/local-papers/upper-hutt-leader/7833833/Runaway-cow-roams-Upper-Hutt-park Never try to eat more than you can lift

How do you propose to make them quit hating us? Not invading countries on false pretences would generally be a good start Hey Stumpy, It would be a good start but lets look at the other side of the coin, people within the USA who hate the USA/the Government/sections of American society so much they will kill their own, what the hell is all that about? No argument from me there. I've always thought (and it doesnt only apply to the US, the UK especially has this as well) that instead of complaining so much about your own country and planning terrorist plots, why not just.... move somewhere else! Well that seals it for me. If people in the EU say it's true it must be so. Do you suppose that your informal survey is a bit skewed by whom you keep as company? I'm still waiting for someone whom I can trust, that has no skin in the game to convince me. Hehe...gramma-phone. Funny. I see your point however in Europe (and a lot of the rest of the world), there is way less skin in the game than the US, as politics is much less dependent on it. The "culture" of deniers just doesn't exist in the same way because there isn't the same right wing agenda to the same level. Science is understood for what it is rather than science vs religion. You are going to tell a dead guy about me, and he's going to do what to me exactly? Invade New Zealand? Your relationship with reality is more tenuous than I suspected. Never try to eat more than you can lift

EOS RT - I had one. It was fantastic for sports photography at the time. SLR strictly means single lens reflex - the "reflex" part meaning that by definition it should have a mirror. It seems to be evolving however into a definition for any camera where you see the same image through the viewfinder as the sensor is getting. Once that becomes as good as real time, then its fine with me. Never try to eat more than you can lift

Its kind of fun, like watching motor racing for the crashes. Plus my company is headquartered there, I have family there, and have spent several years there so it does interest me. Besides, US residents here on SC generally have no problems putting the boot in to criticise the 2 countries I call home. Never try to eat more than you can lift

We all suffer and die, so death and suffering is a non-issue. God's caring is that we fulfill the destiny He created us for. Which is to know & love Him thereby enabling us to know & love ourselves and others. Which (if it were true) has exactly nothing to do with who is the incumbent political party. Glad we got that cleared up. Never try to eat more than you can lift

Statistics do not necessarily equal facts Statistics are an interpretation of facts. That interpretation can be (and frequently is) flawed. Never try to eat more than you can lift

Much MUCH stiffer than I expected, and my mechanic and good friend (you should have a read of his blog at www.oli.co.nz - I reckon you would like it) was pretty surprised too. I'm on the thick end of 200 lbs and its not noodly in the slightest. It doesn't sprint quite as well as the R3, but everywhere else, its magic. N.B. I reckon one of the main things I learnt from this bike, a good pair of handbuilt wheels trumps factory builts every time in terms of handling. Mine are open pros on Record hubs. Oh and you think I suck now? A mate is a distributor for parlee, moots and indy fab Never try to eat more than you can lift

As Italian as it gets. Wilier Zero.7 I reckon mine is more italian than that Pegoretti Marcelo, full Chorus Wilier's older (although I have kinda copped out with a septic bar/stem/seatpost and saddle). My sensible side almost had me going with Chorus, but I ended getting Record (with a touch of SR) because the logos have a red '11' instead of all grey! Money well spent How does the frame ride? Best frame I have ever ridden bar none. Recent comparisons have included BMC SLR, Moots, Colnago Master and Pinarello Dogma, and my other bike which is a cervelo R3. (I'm lucky enough to have some friends in the industry) Those are all amazing, but I am spoilt by the pegoretti now. Its a touch heavier than the latest carbon but it doesn't matter.
