> After dozens of deaths and hundreds of tortures at the hands of coalition troops, why is that suprising? We torture people to death; why wouldn't we pound them? And once again you go on record that America and the Brits are the great evil. Maybe you should walk a mile or two in those mens shoes before throwing such blanket statements out.

What should Osama Bin Laden's fate be?
Channman replied to warpedskydiver's topic in Speakers Corner
> so GWB and Rumsfeld will/are getting off scott free for their crimes against humanity. As it should be. Due that they have not committed crimes against humanity. Remember, someone once said, "Try not to worry about the things you have no control over." -
> the national media have their panties in a wad because the story was given to a local newspaper 24 hours after the incident. I myself would like to see the administration begin releasing breaking news to the local media outlets and bypass the National News media altogether. Talking about getting their pantie in a wad, when they begin to realize they've been benched.

Newsweek and Time will start us all off with another week of Whining from our Fourth Banch of Government our National News Media Vs Dick Cheney in "Cheney's Secret World" and "Sticking to His Guns". And these people seem to think its all about them. CNN's Candy Crowley's response, "The perception is that we're whining", no kidding, she pulled that out of her ass and was right. Washingto Post reporter Dana Milbank fretted that the White House is exploiting the public's growing disdain for the mainstream media, "of course they succeed, " Milbank said of Bush's aides. "The press always looks awful. They will once again make us look awful." Only need to look into a mirror Dana, to answer that question. It's aways been best to just step out of the way and let these people eat themselves, the walking dead. This Week brought to you by those who believe they truely are our Fourth Branch of Government.

> Tierney says, however, that what Saddam actually said was much more sinister. "He was discussing his intent to use chemical weapons against the United States and use proxies so it could not be traced back to Iraq," he told Hannity. They have become no better than The Star / Globe / Enquirer.... They feel the need to modify historical evidence to fit their ongoing lies to the American people. As I've always have said the American Left i.e. media and those in government have a vested interest in America's defeat. Cheney was smart not to intrust his story to these cheese eating weasel rats.

Tell him to step back from the porn. This will not bring you together, and your giving him permission to have another women while you watch. This would be the first step into another and another.... Who am I to tell you what you know in your heart to be true. This has nothing to do with you and everything to do with him, if you were my sister, I would incourage you to leave. -
America; democracy, dynasty, or dictatorship?

Bush authorized domestic wiretaps without warrants
Channman replied to Andy9o8's topic in Speakers Corner
The senate is presently having hearings on wiretaps, and it should'nt belong before the Dems present us with the Terrorist Bill of Rights, (TBR) for short. -
More tax cuts with cost us billions in the long run!
Channman replied to goofyjumper's topic in Speakers Corner
My mistake on the guy thing. Is it Miss or Mrs.? Moving on. I'm prepairing my 3 girls to rely upon themselfs and not upon the State, to take pride in their own work, instead of sitting idle to envy the luck of others, to face life with resolute courage, win victory if they can and accept defeat if they must. But they should never place on their fellow brethern a responsibility which is not theirs. The US Constitution does not entitle them to free hand outs, Medical Cares or the right to snuff out the lives of the Old or unborn (Thread Hijack) and a life time pay check they themselves have not provided for. .... but the freedom to pursue happiness, and the opertunity to live as free men /women. Tax cuts have always produced revenues to the treasury and the treasury has never produced an income other than that which it has taken from a free people. Wing the people off Social Security and Medicare and set up manditory savings accounts that are owned by each individual and over the next 50 years people will be much better off. The average US citizen is saving -.50 -.70 percent, that is a choice that is leading millions to poverty. -
America; democracy, dynasty, or dictatorship?
Channman replied to Misternatural's topic in Speakers Corner
In 2000 Gore got more than 1/2 million MORE popular votes than Bush. Bush was not elected by the people, he was elected by the Electoral College. The founding fathers new best, got to love the Electoral College. -

I think everyone should be pro choice in this matter. The goofyguy can choose to give more to Uncle Sam, and I choose to give less. (Pro Choice) got to love it. I'm still trying to figure out how I can write off the 20K I've paid in taxes as a bad investment. Do you file that under schedule C? -

> Do you REALLLLLLLY want me to spend a little time looking back at some of the postings of some of the threads that concerned THOSE who ARE serving or have served( Non Chickenhawks) and The loud mouths in your Ultra Right Wing ( Chickenhawk members extraordinaire) like one here who in a PM flat out told me.. that serving is not something he would do because the pay is bad... yet runs his mouth to extremes about patriotism....among other issues near and dear the the Ultra Rights heart... Even claiming Racial PURITY...that... is just fucked up... Just reading your post pains my neck. Why all the bitterness. By the way with reference to the post, 3 good kills, need more of em. -
> They need to kick him out and appoint someone else in charge. Quote: Well, I was with you up until you started trying to help em. Dean is doing a fine job and should be encourage to continue in his current position. Just a Note: Dean and Harry Reid are going at it, and Dean appears to want some blood, will he offer up Reid's head on a silver platter? it just does'nt get any better than this.

> Why is it that the Democratic leadership seems so out of the "mainstream?" What is the point that Kerry and Kennedy are trying to make? Mainstream, lets see, If my numbers are right that there were (25) Dem. Senators demanding a flibuster. I for one would love to see one truely happen but I digress. With 25 percent voting for filibuster, is a clear indication that the Dem's do not represent the mainstream but the wacko left. As of this posting Alito was confirmed with a vote of 58 in favor and 42 opposed. It appears that Bush is not on the ropes but standing over his opponents yelling, you want some of me, then get up.

> What a load of rubbish. If your government comes after you with the resources at its disposal, you won't stand a chance regardless of how many Glocks you own. It isn't 1776 any more, they have really serious stuff that you simply can't get. Well, I would just add that the guys driving the M1A tank have to get out once and awhile. When they do, you can reach out and touch them with a .308 and you now have a M1A tank. Do you think they keep the Owners Manual in the glove compartment?

> No, he didn't. Not in all cases. He even had the house of US citizen searched without a warrent. That guy was eventually sent to prison for spying. Having to go back through history with these guys is killing me. Not that it will make any difference.
