Rolf Brombach did an excellent job organising the flock and we made multiple 10+ ways, the highlight being a 14 way sunset dive from 15000ft with 3 smoke flyers Good show of local pilots

The red and white "S3S" shown on http://www.bird-man.com/?n=News&id=766 has the same angle of attack as the old S3. This suit was a custom S3 with a slightly wider leg wing and an extra rib in the arm wing. It was one of the early prototypes in the S4 development program made by Robi in 2003. BASEstore.it

Darren you are a smeg head (well you said you didn't care ) I met up with Darren for the last 2 days of his trip, his first attempt may have been "eventful" but he left one mighty fine wingsuit BASE pilot. The speed and ease with which he was arriving to the bar was most impressive (& annoying as it took me a year! ) Thanks for the fun 2 ways mate

Thanks for clearing that up. So can Vesa make some photos of his S3s? I am interested to see the "larger more aggressive wing area" compared to the old s3

23sec and opening the other side of the road is a good flight and requires great skill.

Hey Troy, Robi is working on the suit as we speak

>Was wondering if anyones had experience on using a ws-extreme for >general jumping inc low FF, static line etc? It can be used as an all round rig, you simply change the top pin loop position from the floor plate to the top flap. >Any downsides? It is tricky to pack the first few times, but you get used to it. A recent trend is to jump a slightly smaller canopy for WS jumps to reduce pack size and a larger canopy for slider off. So I have a WS extreme with a Troll 245 for slider up, WS & tracking and a straight gargoyle with a Troll 265 MDV for slider off. If you can't afford 2 rigs then you may have to compromise on canopy size. >Also is there any donwside generally for non-ws jumps with dynamic >corners? Apart from packing, no. J BASEstore.it

Search function for terms "tracking" & "sub terminal tracking" here and also on blincmagazine.com. I also recommend you make some group track jumps and if you have $$ jumps with your local freefly instructor and get him to make you work

Mount the unit on top of your helmut, sit in co-pilot seat of the porter, turn on GPS 5 minutes before exit and stay in the seat until your turn to exit - works for me

Maybe next year. It is a lot of work organising everything (plane, permissions, oxygen systems etc etc) and I am still not close to getting 100% from the suit. BASEstore.it

There are obviously some variables like toggle position, riser length and slack in leg straps but you should be able to reach your toggles without problems. I could easily reach the toggles with both my skydiving and still air rigs. The spandex back panel gives you the extra reach you need. I agree with above comments for experienced wingsuit pilots about jumping a canopy you are comfortable with. BASEstore.it

My jumping is also exclusively wingsuit, my local offers up to 4000' But its ok because Tom is coming to visit soon BASEstore.it

I stand corrected, the ball is already rolling. Morpheus Technologies, as the North American office for Phoenix-Fly, is already building a demo stock of beginner and (soon to be) intermediate suits that WILL be available to PFIs. Of course if the PFI wishes they will also be able to purchase demo suits at 40-50% discount, depending on the suit. BASEstore.it

I am pretty sure there are some ninja French dudes with serious amounts of jumps also, but you will never hear about them Mucho Respect to them all. BASEstore.it
