    For 27k we had a pipe in the mouth from 10k and pipe in the mouth bail out system in ff. We were 100% ready to jump on take off, i sat completely still all the way up. Only having to turn on my bail out and exit. Visor / goggle freezing shouldn't be an issue from 20k. Hope you have been to the gym Have fun & looooong flights J BASEstore.it

    Such a jump would probably be classed as a "stunt" rather than a sport parachute decent so the normal rules do not apply. Next time I see Ueli I'll tell him off for pulling high BASEstore.it

    You can use the bridle with shrivel "sleeve" for normal BASE also, it only increases the PC pack volume by a small amount. BASEstore.it

    In an over simplified form: To get max distance you sacrifice freefall delay. To get max delay you sacrifice horizontal distance. If you are asking which suit can find the best compromise between these 2 it will come down to pilot skill and personal preference.     Don't confuse Deugs aircraft re-entry with the Joe Jennings freefall re-entry 2 years ago. The Porter used by Deug had NO drogue The Porter used by Joe Jennings had a large custom built drogue for the plane to have a suitable fall rate in a vertical nose dive. BASEstore.it

    I don't think it will be possible to fly back into a tail gate aircraft. Once the rear hatch is open the air flow is very turbulent behind the door and you will have very little lift and control once you come near to the aircraft. In the video of Deug you see how he drops quite hard against the door frame of the porter. You could always try to use momentum to carry you though but the delicate approach alla Deug seems more do-able. If I remember correctly they changed the prop of the porter so that it could glide slower in a dive. BASEstore.it

    Arm pressure on the S3s will be the same as the S3 for reasons stated here. I did 4 and half minutes in an S3 last year, I used the leg pouch and opening wasn't an issue, flaring on the other hand was... BASEstore.it

    The distance is: from 8 mi (12.9 km) off Point Marroquí to 27 mi (43 km) at the western entrance. So a shorter horizontal distance needed than Adrians '99 flight. Flight level 40 seems a little excessive but hey when you are flying over that much water you want a bit of margin BASEstore.it

    I know these guys, they are very experienced jumpers from the Empuriabrava dropzone - they jump S3. Will go check my map for the horizontal distance. 8min freefall time is ambitious BASEstore.it
