Any reason to get a 'b' license?

I have been to several dropzones that in cases of funny or high winds announce that jumpers wishing to jump must hold at least a * license depending on conditions. I've been elsewhere where they do it by jump numbers and not licenses. I've also seen this vary from S&TA to S&TA. Chances are if there's a reason that someone with 100 jumps can't jump, I won't either, though. -
the van is white! we can paint black octagons all over it and make the WHOLE VAN into a driving soccer ball! MUCH better than my sticker idea... __

I didn't go to the designer, but I"d do white top and bottom and alternate red and black ribs. The white makes it wasy to see if it lands in a tree after a cutaway and shows the other colors nicely through it. easy to re-sell, not blazing red or totally black. I'd leave the yellow out. I dunno. Yellow and black together make me think of bumble bees.

I would remove my canopies from teh container and make sure they are in waterproof bags of some sort, stored in a cool dry place. I'd put the rig in a waterproof container of some sort as well again out of intense sunlight, etc. I notice yo have a cypres... If it's new I wouldn't worry about it. It it's an older one that may only have a year or two left on it, I may consider selling it cheap or giving it to a student, somethign like that- IF yo are planning on taking an extended time out. Might as well let someone use it before it becomes out of date. just my 2 cents. __

I"ll have to disagree with that. I know firsthand that scba divers love beer as much as skydivers, and I've even witnessed events such as manboobs contests on dive boats. There's quite a crossover with scuba too. We got to pick a reef once when my sister accidentally lost her bikini top on a dive too. __

scuba has a site called scubaboard.com I followed it for a while, but there are WAY too many categories and the community there is just too big. About time for some new material and territory.... __

closest DZ to tampa area (turbine wise) is ZHills. 4 Otters from Oct-late spring and at least one at all other times. Great night life, 2$ any beer you want bar, cafe on teh premises and a huge swoop pond. Lots of camping going on. 140 ways this spring. 100 way from cessnas in January. Occasional men walking around in lingerie. Shoot n Chutes. And if the weather is crappy, Tampas a great place to be. Lake wales is about 1.5 hours away, Deland about 2, and sebastian is around 2.5-3. See ya at the hills! __

1*:0:0 1 suprise favorite dinner for my wonderful boyfriend on friday evening, no jumps as my nice little burn is healing up and opening shock is a no no right now. found a new wine that's pretty good, only about 8$ at the grocery store. Baywood Cellars Symphony (2000). Goes down waaaaaaay too easy. ALso learned taht the Texas Chainsaw Massacre (movie) was a little more gruesome than I had expected. __

It absolutely rules that teams do that. Airspeed usually puts together a freefly team, etc etc. Good for them!!! It's nice to see that people try to be well rounded. __

There are a few teams I see in advanced that I thought were going open. Fast Trax comes to mind as well with Niklas. oh well. Mel's team is doing great! Go get 'em Adrenaline! __

ah, I've stayed at teh Riande plenty of times. It's not horrible. No it's not worth many stars, but during tunnel camp when all I did was sleep there and shower, no biggie at all. If you tell them you are at the tunnel it's like 35/night w/2 double beds. __

GOD BLESS PROGRESSIVE!!!! My car damages clocked in at about $7000. They're fixing it up and i'll pretty much have a brand new front half of my car in 2-3 weeks. My new baby should be back right before the Bytch Boogie. We shall have to christen it with beer and champagne! Pics to follow, a coworker took some while i was signing papers today. __

76? wow, that's only an hour and a half from me and we're still in the mid 80s every day with that humidity factor on top. __

I'm OK. I have a minor burn/welt on my stomanh, right wrist/forearm and right knee from the hit and airbags. I'm a little sore now and imagine tomorrow will be interesting. Merging onto 95 on my way to do a patients funeral this evening a car slammed on brakes. A second car braked but rear ended them. I was the third car, also rear ended the middle car. the car in front of me had minimal damage on teh back, the bumper was scratched at worst. My car's damadge is as above. cars can be replaced, but i have no money for one right now. ugh. it's a 2001 Elantra GLS __

Anyone know anything about car repair? Got in a damaging accident this evening on 95. My car is at the shop now and I'll have an estimate tomororw, or the bad news that it's totalled. I know for sure that the hood and side panels up to the front doors probably need replaced. needs new headlighs and a new radiator as that got scrunched back. steering wheel airbag needs replaced. any ideas how much that runs? i'm trying to sleep easier tonight knowing that "totalled" won't be in the mechanic's vocabulary. I can handle the deductable, not a new car! __

civilized? *holding back laughter* ZHills actually had "naked weekend" on the calendar last year. Funny enough, it coincided with the NSL meet. __

don't forget the occasional late night towing of cars that accidentally end up in ditches. __
