SO I went to the Hills over new years and knew I had some jumps there since my sister got me some for christmas. there were 6 tickets there for me. I find out today that my sister hasn't even called yet to get them. ah well. whoever bought me jumps, thanks! __

sweet, we'll be up for the pink mafia boogie. i'll plan on watching the surgery video then. I'm sucha wuss when it comes to unneccessary pain and slicing my eye doesn't sound fun.... but it sounds better than contacts every morning so I can FIND my shower... __

contacts. i can't stand glasses. they are such a pain though, esp when travelling. I figure a trip to teh eye doctor and a year of contacts run close to $350. Lasik surgery is ballparked on average at around 1000 here, but mien would probably be slightly higher, as I have an astigmatism as well. we'll see. I'm just starting to ask some questions now... __

THinking about Lasix in the nearish future. ANyone had it? I've heard good and bad. My eyes are terrible and it's to the point where I'm getting new prescriptions each year. I'm legally blind already at 20/600. Really starting to notice at night driving. JUst looking to hear what people's experiences are and what maybe to look for when looking around for a clinic. __

also keep in mind when looking and seeing salary figures that there is no state tax in florida. all you pay out of a check is federal. salaries tend to look lower due to that fact. If I was to re-move to florida (or relocate within FLorida, which I'm trying to do), I'd go Sarasota or Bradenton, which is just north of Sarasota. Sarasota is a neat city on the water- not too big, but big enough.. has some neat museums, lots of restaurants and great sightseeing and places to walk and bike/mangroves to kayak, etc. Cost of living is cheaper in Bradenton which borders to the north. kinda like the sarasota 'burbs. __

I'm a staff therapist with certification in creative arts therapies with a huge hospice in palm beach, FL. Deal with patients and families during the final 6 months of illnesses withe verythign from verbal counseling to pain management and relaxation exercises. At night I'm a grocery store cashier. My debt from college, moving, skydiving, and just generally being dumb with credit while a college student skydiver will be paid off in half the time by having a 2nd job. wahoo!!! __

I failed level 4 gloriously, only once though. Apparently I wasn't turnign correctly. err, at all. I sat there the whole dive and looked at my JM with a blank stare. I was stable, but couldn't turn or move at all. teehee. I pulled and landed fine. Went up again and passed. I worked manifest at Cross Keys. You would be suprised at how many people fail levels multiple times. Pretty common. __
