I know... but G closed on his house Tuesday. THere were a lot of immediate things to be done there.... I'm escaping for a day next weekend to come out (Saturday- early). Hopefully one of my job interviews went well enough to get me a job so I'll be closer to the Hills!! __

FLL is a strange-ish area to travel to IMHO. As for DZs- there are pretty much 3 options- SD Miami which is about an hour and a half south west in Homestead (can not camp there or bring beer, etc, not allowed on the airport), SoBe (although I have no idea what's going on there right now) which is about an a hour and a half north west (camping is off site there), or Sebastian which is probably 2 hours north (camping, beer, friendly). For beach jumps sebastian is the only bet, but check b/c beach jumps require quite a bit of planning and i'm not sure how regular they are scheduled. I haven't spent much time in FLL... so other than DZs can't help you. ALthough if you go to orlando you have ZHills/Titusville/Lake Wales/Sebastian within an hour and the tunnel. __

Check out Sandals resorts. THey're scattered throughout the tropics. ONly adults allowed in most of them. Price initially looks high, but that price is all inclusive. ALl drinks, all meals, everything. ONly thing you may pay extra for is some odd excursion or if you want scuba certified. they usually offer a resort scuba course for free. All Inclusive is the way to go, definitely. __

no jumps, but i watched some really creative landings in some shufty winds at the Hills on Saturday. Manifested once then watchedsoem more landings and CANNED that idea. yikes! sucks, was goign to do some jumps with Boxman. boooo! __
