I think there is a DZ in La BElle, which is just east of Ft Myers. Not sure what the summer status is there, but they seem friendly. I haven't been there. Zhills is right up 75 as well, about the same distance as lake wales would be. ZHills has an Otter and a freefly school. I Believe Lake wales has coaching available too. Check DZ hours, as most FL DZs are closed a few days duing the week due to the season being *off*.

I like my rig, I had a Javelin before with no problems. I also got a killer deal on my odyssey via a coach's team sponsorship. Had I not been offered the deal, I may have gotten a Wings or something else. __

I agree. WHuffos only get bored there and cause problems. There's nothing for them to do unless they volunteer (which would be a great idea), which means a long day of sitting on the packing tarp. but as lisa said, my SO isn't a whuffo. If we had the $$ to go, we'd both be there, in true Rodriguez fashion. __

You're in major luck. Cross Keys is about 30 mins from Central Philly. All turbines (otter, skyvan, etc), chopper, biplane, awesome facilities, square3 on the DZ which has some nice demo programs. Skydive U, a freefly school, and I believe Heath does canopy coaching by request. free camping there, but an easy drive from Philly. __

Excellent. I went to a bachelorette party/shower for a friend I've known since I was 3. no jumping, but sort of reviatlizing. __

Jumped in conditions people wayyyy more experienced than I were were sitting down in. Sleet, huge gusts, you name it. Jumped a Cobalt 120 @ 200 jumps, when my main was a spectre 150. Mos tof my behaviors after hours. __

like i said, lets compare ding letters. I'll forward mine to you and you can send your to me! At least we can laugh at each others' incompetence. I've started to apply for thigns I don't even qualify for (err, "yes Mr HR rep, I did apply for that position. No, I'm not really a licensed MD< but I dissected a cadaver in Anatomy class.... ") It gets very frustrating and looking for new stuff makes me hate day to day even more. I just laugh a lot and try not to make my coworkers as miserable as I am. or sometimes I like to make them more miserable. __

In October ish, I'd say fly to Orlando. Rent a car. Drive down the east coast and hit daytona beach (deland), The Space Center, Sebastian, Miami, the everglades, and then end up in Key Largo or Key West. __
