I have a main parachute that is pretty much unairworthy. I would not sell it to anyone to use as a main, but would sell it to someone interested in dissecting it to learn about canopy structure or a riglet, etc etc. Good deal or not, I won't let anyone jump something that my rigger doesn't think should be jumped.

it may be pants, a freefly jacket and a camera jacket. I know other companies offer 3 piece suits like that. __

I have flown southeast. from fort lauderdale to newark, and Galen has flown them from ST pEtes to Allentown. It's a small airline that is charter based, but has some regular flight schedules as well. It's definitely NO frills, but I had no problems whatsoever. They were on time both flights (with exception of a landing delay in NYC metro area, which is typical anyway), staff was great. When flying them, check the website for where to check in at the airport. They are a small airline and usually operate out of another airlines ticket counter since they have only 2-3 flights a day. Since they fly from regular airports (Sanford is a regular commuter airport) parking is no different than flying from MCO or tampa, etc etc. Probably better, I tend to favor the smaller airports when choosing flights, much easier, less hassle. __

I've been up tot he ranch several times. The landing area is pretty big, but it's long and narrow. Stay away from the tree lines and you're fine. I think that in general things seem more turbulent up north. I *grew up* at Cross Keys, visiting the Ranch, delamarva, C-burg, etc etc etc. Lots more trees, etc to mix thigns up. Anyone used to a big florida landing area the size of utah is going to think anywhere up there is small in camparison. I remember my first trip to ZHills, seeing that landing area. It's all in what you're used to. I hear fight night is a BLAAST. my vote however, is with cross keys.If i get to travel anywhere this summer, that's where I'd go in a heartbeat. __

my main opened with a step through (a spectre 150 loaded at about 1.2 at the time) It was perfectly steerable and controllable. I landed it without any incident. __

SIesta Key is pretty far from Panama City. Siesta sits at the south part of Sarasota. Panama City is way out on the panhandle. Nice 460 mile drive there, over 7 hours and a time zone change. Siesta is gorgeous though. I'd skip the panama city hype and go to siesta key any day. The sand there looks bleached and it's so fine you find it EVERYWHERE for weeks after leaving the beach. Incredible sunsets there too. __

I try to avoid the transfats as much as I can- buying the natural ground peanut butter, *good* breads. There are some things however that just can't be sacrificed though.

I'd like to retitle that video "Katies Hour of Complete Goodness" It's fabulous. And no matter what you are doing in there, everyone looks like a demon due to the nightvision on teh camera, so it makes it funnier. It's like a satanic rodriguez initiation! __

ah. It's monday right now. FLorida forecasts are terrible guesses, at best. At a week away, that forecast is as reliable as me waking up by my alarm clock. And this is florida. they ALWAYS say isolated T storms. that's our forecast from march until november. taht means it might rain for 5 minutes, then get sunny again. It means built in lunch breaks. -
