congrats!!!

when were ya @ the tunnel? teammates were there friday night flying. i'm having tunnel withdrawl... 2 weeks, 2 weeks... that thing is like a drug. =c)

2 friends here from cross keys:1:1 had a great weekend, took the friends to sebastian, easy day, found a little private beach to swim at on the inlet, did clematis on friday night, a BBQ, even met someone interesting on friday. go figure. beer for hooking up my main (relined and flies beautifully now!), jumping it and not chopping. =c)

skydivers always recognize it from a distance. whuffo friends however need explaining. silly whuffos.

here's the one i got a bout a month ago or so, was when it was just done, explains the redness. had it custom drawn from a few photos i had.

naked is one thing. coated in only latex paint is another. =c)

there was actually a baby gator in the drainage ditch @ sebastian. walking in from load one on sunday and there was kristine pointing @ the baby gator. good thing we've got a bridge over that ditch!!!

yeah the best is when you THINK you are doing a 3 person or 4 person e star and some idiot runs at you forcing you into a 2 way then you fall over, they grab your feet... you get the idea. besides poking people in the rear end (which strangely makes them jump...), we like touching someone's forehead... amkes you see a big white light, refer to it as the "touch of god." try it, you'll like it! =c)

who of course was on oxygen and you had to avoid the tubing.

12 mosquito bites:9:1 weather was great most of the day yesterday (got a late start) and started to get iffy later in the day today. had some aswesome jumps with my team, jumped a new main since mine is away getting relined, a heatwave. nice, incredible glide, even compared to stilettos i've jumped. way overshot my target, btu not as snappy. funny- our OC had to sit out early today so we picked up someoen not incredibly familiar with 4way (but had an interest). funniest jump i've done in a long time, huge funnels, but everyone was laughing hysterically the entire time. at one point we were in a canadian T getting ready for the block and she yanked me before grips were broken so i swung over the top like a merry go round. good stuff.

i believe that (or the same thing) happened over memorial weekend~ i faintly remember someone running around yelling that her boob was bleeding.. what a strange crownd of people this sport attracts...

costco/sams club rock!!! where else can you go and buy bulk wine, granola bars, a home stereo system, and a canoe or paddle boat- all at once??!!

amen! And his hair has to smell like sour milk for at least 4 hours after. Amateurs. and i might add he didn't get pied 1300 miles from home so the nasty clothes had to go home that way on the airplane~ after having 2 more days of 85 degree temps to curdle. that guy would have had it worse if he was forced to drink bud light (sorry andrea.. )

also you may want to try a slightly different movement in your legs. INstead of simply dropping a knee down as a rudder, imagine pushing it out and down on approx a 45 degree angle. resistance is in the thigh and on the bootie area of your suit. This countered with forearms (with practice) will result in a nice center turn.... hard to explain in words, but watch a vid of some good 4way teams flying and it's easy to visualize there.

Although I only got 2 jumps in, I had a great weekend too. drove up to the deland area friday, since it is a 3.5 hour drive for me... got a good 9 hours sleep, bright and early @ deland for creeping.. Unfortunately that is all we got to do on Sat!!! The meet got called early in the afternoon, so I got to hang around and get to know my teammates better (first weekend with them)- then we got a brilliant idea to head to the tunnel... booked a half hour for later. despite not getting to jump that day, the tunnel was great! we flew 30 mins of 4way in there, starting with just randoms, moving to some blocks. started with the cat and acc block, went well, moved to buddies-buddies. that went well too , so we tried stardian. first few were a bit interesting. I got pounded a few times, but we finally got it. Sunday morning looked better, we got in 2 rounds before the rain came back. Deland was a giant swoop pond after all the rain. Mono exit was a bit sketchy, but everything else was pretty good. All in all I got to meet and do a little training stuff with some really cool people. 4Way Rocks!!!

the ranch is nice in the fall, the mountains are beautiful.... I however think that Sebastian beats that- how many DZs have jumprun over the ocean??!! it's incredible!!!

we were there 9-9:30 (split with a solo guy), then SuperFly and TBD had a split hour, we got back in @ 10:30-11 (split with the whuffo class). Weekend lesson: There is not a gripper on my ass. =c)

20 leftover wings from the guys trip to hooters:2:2 30 mins in the tunnel sat night with my new team doing some 4way, did some vertical blocks without injuring each other, amazing!!! deland was like a big pond. beer for being andrea's first house guest and my first jump with my teammates. they rock!!!
