it was fun meeting you too, esp teh little conversation on the deck. =c) I must say one of the funniest points of the evening was trying to get the jello shots out of the cups... that took a lot of work!! flyhi- when you started falling low you shoulda just grabbed someone's chest strap, 3D-ed it on "purpose"- woulda been interesting to see reactions there!!!! who cares, the other jumps were pretty good, gotta have one notable one.... 2nd biggest lesson i learned @ deland- if you use the shower in the womens' room, lock the door. i comment no further on that. yeah i was pretty suprised @ the beer policy, really have to trust the people you jump with . maybe i coulda used that as an excuse for flubbing up that dirt dive... heehee... cross keys has an actual neon triangle light that says Beer across the top and Cross Keys on the bottom parts of the triangle. when wheels are up on the last load, the light goes on. Smart jumpers nix the sunset load in order to grab a bunch of beer and get first dibs on the pizza. =c) Been to 15+ DZs now and deland was the premier one with beer around all day. it was cool though, andrea and i were good and started by sunset, even though i still don't know how you get drunk off of bud light.... you are a bad influence! ha!! i'll leave it at that. and as for the dark side- the gods told me never to freefly again after all my RW landings being beautiful then the freefly one putting me sliding through a marshy mess looking like i was coated in mud.... boo to freeflying!!!!! if i hadn't been so sick sunday/sat night i would have stolen YOU to the light side... 0:5:1 got to jump with skymama @ deland, she has seen my wretched freefly skills in action. we had an interesting spot on that one too... did some 8 way with flyhi, met carrie as well. 1st jump @ deland, so i brought beer. i'm very disappointed that andrea drinks bud light though...ew.... =c) Stacy http://users.snip.net/~stacy

i was told of a messy incident when a canopy was tied to a bike.... that didn't last very long so it was transferred to the back of a truck for a parasailing-like event... needless to say when teh wind suddenly dropped off... oops... Stacy http://users.snip.net/~stacy

my colors started out as black/white/purple/silver. i pretty much wore my RW suit out and wanted to get rid of the white parts (problems with white gloves on grips, etc...). Got a new suit which is all black with hunter/jade cordura and grippers. my helmet is still purple/silver/black, it's custom painted though. my freefly pants (still basically new) are purple silver and black. my rig doesn't match anything, bought it used. my main doesn't match either, got a good deal from a friend and color was not an issue with the price offered. eventually everything will match my new suit. "misunderstanding" the flight characteristics of an elliptical.... who would have guessed that you stll have to flare a HP canopy?? falling in a turtle hole on landing chicken fighting with the US CRW team believing that Mags really did do a topless body shot, feeling bad for her and matching her feat. little did i know... trying to freefly in the tunnel (i am not a freeflier by any stretch of the imagination), and falling out. nice bruise there. the whole walk like an egyptian incident.feel free to add to the list.
