  1. Oh come on Kallend, even if they denied you that Spinetto 14 years ago, you would still be that grumpy old curmudgeon you are today. 50 donations so far. Give it a try. You know you want to spank it Jump an Infinity

  4. Damn, there went the neighborhood. There will be lots of flocking and the view is incredible. Don't waste any room for that Utah beer. Plenty of good stuff at the bar. Are we there yet? 50 donations so far. Give it a try. You know you want to spank it Jump an Infinity
  5. Got three new baby birds in the air and a refresher course to boot. No photos as all involved are part of witness protection program. Plus birds trying new exits out of the Skyvan. This boogie does not suck. 50 donations so far. Give it a try. You know you want to spank it Jump an Infinity
  6. I was/am one of those "skygods" that called sangi out on some of the misinformation he was spewing. Giving an opinion on something he has either no or very limited experience is the problem. The fact that he reacts in a negative way to being told he was flat out wrong is his issue. Not this website. My responses are direct, but not rude. Some members here don't sugar coat their opinions. Giving ill informed opinions that can hurt someone is not taken lightly. But saying it is the fault of the "skygods" that he was pushed to make the posts that he does seams a bit offbase. He does it because he likes the responses. The only reason I continue to respond and feed his trolling is that some other new visitor to the site won't actually listen to, or at least will question, the drivel that he writes. I would have no problem hoisting a frosty beverage and talking to him face to face. He might realize that those he tags with the name of skygod is as far from the truth as you believe he is that idiot. Or maybe sangi and those other posters are both right after all. I am a SKYGOD and he is that IDIOT. Only time will tell. I have to admit, me being considered a skygod makes me chuckle. 50 donations so far. Give it a try. 7. Looks like the weather should be nice this year. I'll have some demo wingsuits available for experienced birds and my own student suits for those qualified that want a first flight course. Look for my tent in the main packing area. If I'm not training a student, I'll be organizing flocks. The Skyvan is scheduled starting Friday, so those that want to play out of the tailgate, here's your chance. Might just be able to get some high speed passes. Boogie info 50 donations so far. 12. This conversation tends to happen with a member of a certain age group and gender. I have no idea if you fit this group, but just play along for a second. Male, under 25 y/o, on the smarter side, decent athlete, used to picking things up quickly, but has way too much testosterone. That's why auto insurance rates are so high for that age group. They are a bit more aggressive at pushing their under developed skills. At 150 jumps, that is equivalent to 2.5 hours driving. That same group is often way too confident about their mad driving skills as well. Lots of people have gotten away with doing things early, but that doesn't mean it is smart. At low jump numbers, there is still so much you don't know you don't know. If you have read the FAQ sticky and can't see it, all while sitting in front of your computer, what are you missing in the air where a mistake can kill someone. These early jumps give you the experience to be able to anticipate what is about to go wrong, before you become part of it/cause it. Strapping that camera on shifts the focus of learning away from building jumping skills and moves it to flying the camera. Want to be a good camera flyer. Become a badass jumper first. The camera skills will follow much faster. And I have been in the sport for only 5 + years, but I include myself in the stodgy old fart group. We aren't here to piss in your Wheaties. We want you to stick around long enough to be able to say "stupid kids". 50 donations so far. Give it a try. You know you want to spank it Jump an Infinity
  13. A 2 man raft often doesn't have the best attachment points for rope. A group down in Belize came up with some ideas. Look me up at the boogie and I'll help you with it. Most important thing is no loops where a hand/foot can get caught. 50 donations so far. Give it a try. You know you want to spank it Jump an Infinity

  15. Mike, Sangi is always right. Whether it be wingsuiting, canopies or whatever. Remarkable how much of an expert one can become with 100 jumps. And if you ever forget, just ask him. He'll set you straight. 50 donations so far. Give it a try. You know you want to spank it Jump an Infinity

  18. Yep, 'll be organizing flocks and providing wingsuit first flight courses for those qualified. Hope to have some demo suits for birds that want to try something new. 50 donations so far. Give it a try. You know you want to spank it Jump an Infinity

  21. Kevin, I gave up on Sangi. I think he loves the attention he gets from his trolling. (sorry to add fuel to his trolling by even mentioning his name) The only thing I worry about is the other new jumpers that may actually listen to is stupidity and take it as validation of attempting things too early. Kudos to the new jumpers with even less jumps than said idiot on calling him on his stupidity. 50 donations so far. Give it a try. You know you want to spank it Jump an Infinity
  22. For a skydiving canopy, some with the flattest glide would be Pilot, Pulse, Stiletto, Nitro/Nitron. The Stiletto and Nitro/Nitron are elliptical and should be for intermediate and above skill level canopy pilots. 50 donations so far. Give it a try. You know you want to spank it Jump an Infinity
  23. Listen to Sangi, he knows everything about everything. Just ask him. A big canopy can be less than exciting. But it is also more forgiving as one learns how to fly said canopy and makes a mistake. Learn how to sink it in, make it float as long as possible to get back from a long spot, land crosswind & down wind, make flat turns. Then when you downsize, it will be easier to do those same tasks, with less risk since you have those skills in your toolbox. A panic turn on a big canopy can hurt you. A panic turn on an undersized canopy can do much worse. And if you have a chance, take a canopy skills course as soon as you can. Learning good habits early is much better than breaking old habits and relearning. 50 donations so far. Give it a try. You know you want to spank it Jump an Infinity

  25. Many years back, my girlfriend at the time and I moved into a new apartment together. After about a year, we realized we needed some personal space/cave time. What we came up with was, one night a week, the other person had to be out of the house from after work until 10PM. This allowed one person to have the place all to themselves. That would give two nights a week we were apart at school/seeing friends/whatever. It made a big difference reducing how much we were on each others nerves and made communication about other issues easier. Might be worth a try. Obviously didn't totally solve the problem as she is an exGF. 50 donations so far. Give it a try. You know you want to spank it Jump an Infinity
