That's OK Gia, you should be used to that feeling by now. My waffle iron is a good one, but not sure if it could handle all of you gals. Try using Brian Germain's packing of the pilot chute to prevent the mal. If the main pin gets popped prematurely, the PC will get pulled out instead of becoming a big ball trapped in the BOC causing the horseshoe. OK folks, it's time for me to buy the tents. They go off sale Friday. So far I have enough $ pledged for two tents. Fueler is bringing one as well. At LP, between the NorCal crew and the bunch from Washington, we had three of these tents. That won't be a whole lot of space for lounging/packing for the big crowd that is expected for Byron. I won't be post whoring tomorrow, so let GFD know if you are willing to chip in for some more shade. I'll track down enough tents to cover what GFD totals up. It was so nice having enough room at LP. So if you want to make sure you can relax with some shade overhead, please bring some of your own, or help out and be so kind to donate some $ and it will be waiting for you. To add to what is well said above, hang around after beer light is on. That is when you can learn even more and start to get to know your fellow jumpers when they aren't in a hurry trying to make a load. If you have a question, crack open a bottle, hand it to one of your new friends and ask away. You'll have their attention for a while, and they'll appreciate the generosity. I went from an active job to pushing paper. Lost muscle tone and gained flab. Went up 25lb. I changed my diet and lost the 25, but haven't regained the muscle. I'm at my ideal weight, just need to exchange the fat for the muscle. Seeing that the plane does the work for the way up and gravity on the way down, haven't had much luck since started skydiving. I had the same decision to make back in the mid 90's. Left my job and my comfy nest with family close by and traveled. Had the time of my life. Saw a bunch of this beautiful country. Once the money ran out, moved to a new city having to find a job. It worked for me. I learned so much about myself that I could not see in my nest. Go for it. Sorry about having to change locations/coworkers. Looks like I will be out the door of my present job mid September and all I can say is Yeah Buddy!
