    I was lucky to have a good packing coach who watched me struggle a bunch of times and gave tips as I went. I sat and watched people pack every which way to glean as much as I could. During a Brian Germain canopy course, he gave some packing tips that really helped get the bitch into the bag. Even works with slippery new ZP canopies. After lots of practice, I an fast enough to make next load and my openings are pretty consistent. If everyone packs their own instead of using packers, after sunset load, offer to pack someone else's canopy with them watching and giving you instruction how they do it. You get the training/experience and they get a free pack job. You will learn lots of different methods and you can find the best for you. And as has been said many times, the canopy will open in spite of how you pack it, not because of it. Smile during freefall, makes for a better picture. 50 donations so far. Give it a try.     My DZ has the landing area a van ride away from the airport. Unless the weather sucks with low cloud deck(seldom), we are at 7-8K in the KA by the time we are over the landing area enroute to altitude. HnPs in the 206 usually involve a student working on their "A" and have to be scheduled. I have helped fill the 206 just so it would go. Not my favorite thing to do but doesn't scare me either. Lately, my ears have been plugged due to summer cold, so might have to get some HnPs at a different DZ just to get into the air. 50 donations so far. Give it a try.     ::0 Brought home a summer cold from LP. Head too stuffed up to jump. Hung out at Byron on Saturday afternoon on the off chance that my ears would clear up. No such luck. Saw an unfortunate AFF student get drug across the sooty landing area due to gusty winds. I helped reef in the main. Took a lot of work with the Brush of Shame to clean up the rig and jumpsuit.     Four plates that had a TOTAL of one can of whipped cream on them! It wasn't so much a pieing as it was a whipped cream, umm, accentuation. I just discovered I can get a waffle maker from the reward points on one of my credit cards... should I go for it You can't threadjack your own thread. OK, you asked for it. I'll keep a stash of waffles ready for your 100th. They might get a little dry though. Luckily there is that strawberry stand on the way to the DZ. I wonder how hard it is to get those little strawberry seeds out of your hair? Go for the waffle maker. That way you don't need anyone else to provide you the pleasure.

    No worries on my 100th. I had a great time and you had more important things to worry about. Glad things turned out as well as they did. Looking at maybe taking some time off so B-town might be in my future a bit more. I've heard that jumping with you and your big thingy can be emotionally damaging.
