    Just got home from Hollister. Had an incredible sunset tracking dive for Shannon. The sunset was a beautiful reddish pink. Absolutely gorgeous. The entire King Air went on the dive. We wore the pink boas during the dive. Some wore them around the neck or as streamers from their feet or hands. It was slow enough that even I could keep up with it. The previous load waited at the landing area and had celebratory beer waiting on our landing. A nice way to celebrate the joy that Shannon brought to our jumping community.     Growing up, I spent a lot of time at the airport and airshows. Saw a lot of demo jumps. Thought they were cool. Fast forward to a vacation in Mexico and did a tandem. Fast forward some more when a new coworker said she was a skydiver and she kept pushing me to start. Finally did my AFF and spent my savings and most my income ever since. 50 donations so far.     Ron, I actually got the idea from a rigger. The risers on my Talon had enough room in them for the tube to just slide in. I made no mods to the risers. After I installed the tubes, had a rigger look at them to make sure it was OK. My mistake for not adding your concerns to my original post. Good catch.

    Watching it now. Nice piece. Edit. It just finished. Very nice and respectful job by Fox and beautiful tribute by you Bob. I taped it, but don't know about the quality. There was a clip of Shannon from a previous jump from the bridge where she thumbed her nose at the camera. I laughed because it was so Shannon. I needed that.

    Mark, my risers didn't have hard housings. When I started jumping a wingsuit, I was told an interim step I could use instead of replacing/modifying the risers was to put a piece of 1/4" plastic tubing often used for hooking up a refrigerator ice maker. It is flexible enough and won't trap the cutaway cable if the risers get spun up. Don't know how well it works because my Sabre 170 has been well behaved. 50 donations so far. Give it a try.     I had planned to make 15 jumps over the 3 day weekend. Was told about GFD after making my 14th incredible jump of the weekend. I was floored. Didn't know what to do. Sat around trying to make sense of it. I knew she would want me to finish what I started and make my 15th jump. Did a solo 15K HnP and just flew around looking at the beauty that I had shared with her on a few jumps. While soaring over the DZ, had a good cry and a few smiles as I remembered some of the good times we had shared. Had the whole landing area to myself and made my softest landing of the day in the dead center of the peas. At least she saw me do it.

    Good. That means there is more for me. I never developed a taste for beer or bitter type flavors. I like margaritas and sweet girly drinks( mojito, appletini, and yes, even a cosmo). I take a lot of shit for it, but who cares. I think we all look/act goofy once we are drunk, no matter how we got there.     I saw one of these babies as I was crossing the street. I just stood in front of it and drooled. The light changed and had to get out of the way so he could get going. I like my Passat wagon, but me likee the Audi as well.

    I tend to be a bit ripe after skydiving. I think it is because I sweat for a bit then stop. Repeat this throughout the day and the aroma/funk just builds up.
