    Just last night Mythbusters looked at fuel saving gadgets/ additives. All either had no change or lowered the MPG of the cars tested. Supposedly, the EPA tested over a 100 different claims and only a couple made any improvement, and those were minor. Want to improve your MPG, drive smoothly without jackrabbit starts. Keep your tires properly inflated. And if you have a whole bunch of crap in the trunk, empty it. Hauling a few extra pounds of stuff around does make a difference.     SprawlMart is know for "offering" to come to your town to provide "jobs" (read low paying w/o benefits) as long as they get tax credits. The city gives them a deal for 10 or 15 years. A new mega complex shopping center is built with new franchise chains clinging to the mothership. The local mom and pop stores can't compete and close down. Once SprawlMart loses the tax credits, they close the store and move to the next town over. The shopping center loses its anchor and becomes a ghost town. All the workers now have to drive to the next town over to buy the cheap goods because they are making even less on unemployment. Nice way to maintain market share.     I'm not much of a mall person. For me it is the people who don't know that on an escalator that is wide enough for two people, if you just want to stand there, stay on the right.     On the night jumps I have watched, they taped the flashlight/stobe to their helmet. The flashlight was angled to the front so they could see the canopy during deployment. They would turn it on just after they pulled. The strobe was facing to the back and could be seen from almost any angle. 50 donations so far. Give it a try.
