Oh i'm seeing things perfectly clear now! pharmaceutical free! I apologize if speaking in a figurative manner and utilizing symbolism made my message difficult for you to comprehend. I'll dumb it down for you: Relax guys, it's some bumper stickers promoting a DZ. no one gives a sh*t unless ASC or skyride is involved, then suddenly the sky is falling... wait, that was more symbolism... i meant a small issue gets blown well out of proportion. Let some skydivers have a little sophomoric fun around town, no one is getting hurt and people are out just having fun promoting the sport. I'd be rather surprised if the AG is jumping for joy when you bother him about bumper stickers... I'm sure that is his #1 priority. I gotta catch a flight, talk amongst yourselves. $13 full up in nor cal b*tches!!! So there I was... Making friends and playing nice since 1983

NOPE! It is definitely NOT us. If it were us, I would probably be the one putting up the signs and I have not done any signs. Plus, we do not sell gift Certificates anymore because there's so much fraud with the sLyride issue that we opted out of those. I'll be in Nashville tomorrow and I'll keep my eyes open for any such signs. It may be Mike Mullins or Cullman. I have not seen them as of yet, so I cannot say who it is yet, but I'll post a follow up if I can find out who it is. Soooooo... no one would give a sh*t if it was you, Mullins, or Cullman? Is that what I'm reading? 4 people that have the terrible, soulless, and satanic reputation of mass marketing via bumper sticker, but everyone's panties are in a knot over chuck? It was ME! I flew in from san fran just to paint the town red! I pulled them out of a fire I believe a skyride (and capitalism) hater set, and subsequently lit Nashville ablaze with my vengeance using nothing but scorched bumper stickers as my flaming battle axe. I'm suing for burned hands and the emotional distress caused by said burns by the way. Additionally I do not believe the bumper sticker bonfire was state regulated or sanctioned. I have pictures and I'm not afraid to use them! Happy Holidays! So there I was... Making friends and playing nice since 1983

depends how late im running- If I'm late/cuttin it close, it comes w/ me loose as it is easier to get inspected than opening some luggage and stuffing it back in again (yes rigs fit in bags, even my old 190 w/a 17???? reserve) If i am on time and cruzin I definitely put it in a bag to avoid being "that guy." Couple things: To preface- i worked a few years in a restaurant through college which allowed me to skydive and travel a bit before hittin the real world, i'm now working my way up in hotel management with dreams to run the world some day With my short career in the hospitality industry, i obviously see lots of tipping going on. Yes, there are some extreme areas that are a bit ridiculous for a tip, but for the most part it helps assure good service. Keep in mind with restaurant servers, they are required to report 10% of their sales to the governement as income- expected tips. Servers at most restaurants "tip out" percentages to the bar tenders, hostesses, bussers, etc. generally about 4-5% of sales. So if you go to a restaurant and tip less than 14%, the server is getting taxed on money they didnt earn (f*ck the government, i hate taxes...). Now understand I am a strong advocate of tipping, however if the service was poor and justifies a sh*tty tip, make your statement. If service was exceptional, by all means make a statement! People remember. When was the last time $5 made all the difference in your day? Hard work deserves reward in my book, especially in the hospitality industry where you run into countless @$$holes that think they are entitled to free sh*t based on the volume of their voices. If you get into a habit of tipping well, especially at your local, highly frequented spots, it comes around. I tend to go a little over the top sometimes (30-40% for really doing the unexpected) cuz i've been there and know how it can make a difference- and i guarantee those people continue to try hard. It never hurt anybody, just made someone's day or night who helped make my night considerably better. It comes around, so don't hate So there I was... Making friends and playing nice since 1983

The line starts here: who wants to have a drink in Denver?

FYI i was in Copper last weekend, 4 lifts and 6 runs open, woohoo! ha ha ha! looks like they are working on a few other runs with the machines, and i assume they'll get hit with something in the next 3 weeks. went for just a day, totally worth it. Snowboarding- best way to femur outside of skydiving. So there I was... Making friends and playing nice since 1983 -
You give meaningless persons too much credit. "The dark side" of skydiving was, is and shall ever be the satanic twisting of our fair sport from its normal orientation on our bellies into unnatural head down positions that would send shivers down the spine of any God fearing soul. Furthermore the usage of demonic 'lift' a la Furnarianic positions not only destroys our sport, it imperils your soul. edited for the spelling of the beast. Thank you. I was about to ask if i missed the memo on a tandem/AFF/belly counting as the darkside. Yes, I'm an elitist bastard... just don't ask me to do any 4way unless i'm inverted. So there I was... Boggles my mind, but for the vast majority i guess they find they need something to try to make sense of a chaotic world. I will never understand that need, but power to ya if it's your thang; just ain't mine. So there I was... Making friends and playing nice since 1983

Kinda tough pill to swallow, ain't it? Fortunately, we humans have such sophisticated brains, that we can deceive ourselves into believing that we have a separate, immortal existence, so that we don't have to cope with death. Next, we make up an invisible guy in the sky, so that we can try to understand why we feel weird emotions, and to justify our existence. Ultimately, we superimpose our delusional ideals on everyone else, so that we don't have to feel bad when we kill them. But mother nature has us beat - we're still able to reproduce faster than we can kill each other. +1

Did my 100th in february in georgia... it was in the teens at best @ altitude. I was in the cold seat in the otter with a full load of 23 while the DZM guarded the door on the way up and made sure to leave it open all the way to altitude for me... and direct air at me. Not my proudest or largest moment... in fact it may have been my smallest moment since i was born- but i did it, it was awesome, and a great story. Whuffos love it anyway. don't be a b*tch, rock out with your c*ck out So there I was... Making friends and playing nice since 1983

dude, step away from the chain restaurants! Johnny's burritos, some hole in the wall in ventura, CA. I think it is on ventura blvd a couple blocks from main st. I used to ditch 6th and 7th period in high school just to get some of that goodness at lunch and try to make it back before football so coach wouldn't murder me, like an hour drive each way. Totally worth the chicken run... So there I was... Making friends and playing nice since 1983

It appears Californians are about as hick-ish as any of the redneck states they mock. It's sad that they'd want to wipe out a ton of marriages that have already occurred and prevent others from happening in the future. Blues, Dave edit: I like the south! So there I was... Ummm, personally I feel extremely segregated at ladies' night in the bars, clubs, and the nor cal tunnel... to the point i cry myself to sleep at night. What about fighting for an independent nation to be proud of? ya know, all the rights we have given ourselves and defended for a couple centuries now so that a black man can be president? That was kind of a big win that we fought for... Since I am an athiest and white and not a white christian male, does that make me a minority and can i have white pride now? Nothing wrong with pride, but i do get the same frustrated feelings when it is OK to have black power and black pride, and sadly the idea white pride and white focus groups has been completely tainted by the lovely KKK and like groups. That said, I'm not proud to be white i mean i just happened to be born that way, nothing to take pride in. I'm proud of the sh*t i've done in and with my life, the sh*t i've worked for- why can't it be that simple for all races? No one ever worked or earned the color of their skin, racial pride enhances the divide IMO. yes, the slave thing is kind of a big blemish on our history, but it has clearly been rectified with what happened last night. I do think obama is handling the racial thing very well by downplaying it as much as he can, i appreciate that aspect of his campaign and victory... yes i can. Me too

thats why i said in the beginning there were some dated old mannish type statements in there. definitely not the best source to use, i just figured it could spark some conversation on the topic of this thread. Anyway, i do agree with the fact that Obama has no experience with anything. got himself an ejumacation by transferring around schools, bounced around from a few different jobs every couple years and is now the leading candidate for the Pres of the USA. Only in America, ha ha ha! I mean could he be great? sure, but there are just so many unknowns it is hard to take confidence in a candidate so full of ideas (mostly rhetoric like all the rest on both sides) of how to spend americans money, with a very limited track record to back himself up. To me, that is a little nerve wracking. So there I was... Making friends and playing nice since 1983
