  1. OTOH, others, including yourself, were imagining phantom complicating factors. Math tutoring available. Only $6! per hour! First lesson: Factorials!
  2. Do you have any data countering the points it makes, or is it simply not consistent with your political beliefs. (For the record, I don't believe either the Palestinians or the Israelis can claim the moral high ground.) Math tutoring available. Only $6! per hour! First lesson: Factorials!
  3. There are also plenty of dumbasses that believe all the propaganda put out by the US and Israel. Some of us would just like to see Israel live and act lawfully as a member of the international community. Math tutoring available. Only $6! per hour! First lesson: Factorials!
  4. The fact remains that Israel cannot use past wars to justify current illegal actions. Too many people want to claim UNSC resolution violations when it is politically convenient, but then disregard the authority of the UN when that's convenient. That's why Israel hasn't had to be held accountable for their violations. Math tutoring available. Only $6! per hour! First lesson: Factorials!
  5. not 100%. but it has limitted Hamas' supply of more advanced weapons. From the article:The blockade was ostensibly a means to stem the influx of weaponry into Gaza. In practice, with shipments the size of automobiles flowing through the tunnels, the Hamas arsenal has grown ever more sophisticated, now believed to include Iranian-manufactured rockets capable of striking Tel Aviv and Ben-Gurion Airport from the Strip. Besides the fact that it is illegal to block humanitarian supplies as Israel has been doing? From the article:Finally, Cast Lead, the Gaza war a year ago, might have been prevented altogether, had Israel adhered more closely to the Egyptian-brokered Hamas-Israel truce agreement of June, 2008, and lifted the siege more completely in response to a drop in rocket fire. Do you have any arguments supporting the siege that haven't already been addressed by the article being discussed? Math tutoring available. Only $6! per hour! First lesson: Factorials!
  6. Fair enough. That's why I indicated clarification was necessary. Let's not forget the attacks by Israel in recent years. Let's also remember their illegal occupations and numerous UNSC resolution violations. Did you agree with the use of force to enforce such resolutions with other countries in the region, e.g., Iraq? If so, why the double standard w/r/t Israel? Math tutoring available. Only $6! per hour! First lesson: Factorials!
  7. Has the siege of the Gaza strip accomplished that? Good faith negotiations would be a nice start. But, yes, ending the illegal occupations needs to happen. Math tutoring available. Only $6! per hour! First lesson: Factorials!
  8. Their actions indicate that they do not want to "simply exist." What borders do the UN recognize today? Are Israelis occupying territory beyond those borders? Quite simply, if they are, they're wrong and should be held accountable for those occupations. Math tutoring available. Only $6! per hour! First lesson: Factorials!
  9. you are naive. if a gang beats up your little brother, will you stop protecting him just so you don't risk them being mad at you? you mean during a war that was forced upon it? what do you want Israel to do, apologize for not losing a war it didn't start? He seems to forget who attacked en masse as soon as the State of Israel was declared.... he does not acknowledge the actions of the Grand Mufti....etc. JCD is just real good with historical facts. You're good enough at attacking the player. Have you considered playing the ball? Math tutoring available. Only $6! per hour! First lesson: Factorials!
  10. and that's the main problem. you see Israel's existance as "taunting the gang". if you deny Israel's right to exist, our discussion will go nowhere. The problem is that Israel isn't happy simply existing, they bring their problems on themselves. Right. Israel's illegal occupations are a problem. They aren't "simply existing." Math tutoring available. Only $6! per hour! First lesson: Factorials!
  11. If my little brother taunted the gang members, I might let him fend for himself or kick his ass myself if fending for himself isn't a practical option. I certainly wouldn't put up with him repeatedly causing me unnecessary grief and risk because of his own ill-advised actions. you mean during a war that was forced upon it? I felt the question was clear. Is Israel currently occupying territory beyond the 1947 borders? Math tutoring available. Only $6! per hour! First lesson: Factorials!
  12. I'm fairly certain there hasn't been enough information offered to determine the players' respective statuses w/r/t rationality. Math tutoring available. Only $6! per hour! First lesson: Factorials!
  13. Perhaps Israel might be held accountable for their actions. If those actions are as just as you claim, then you should have no issue with that. What arab/muslim majority? Do you understand the difference between the UN General Assembly and the UN Security Council? Perhaps you're premature in your assignment of blame to Palestinians. Math tutoring available. Only $6! per hour! First lesson: Factorials!
  14. US foreign policy w/r/t Israel is a major, if not the primary cause of much of our international troubles. Without a doubt we need to reconsider our support. Is it your assertion that Israel is not occupying any land beyond their 1947 UN recognized borders? Math tutoring available. Only $6! per hour! First lesson: Factorials!
  15. Accountable for what? To which UNSC resolution violations are you referring? It's absurd to think that the UN has given Hamas a pass while persecuting Israel. No one is claiming that Israel is the only country doing bad stuff. They just never seem to be held accountable for the bad stuff they do. Math tutoring available. Only $6! per hour! First lesson: Factorials!
  16. I found it interesting, and I certainly don't fall into the group you mentioned. Nor do I blindly cheerlead for Israel. I prefer to view the situation objectively, and recognize that neither side can take the moral high road. Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight One only needs to examine your posting history on the topic to recognize that you're heavily biased. You are, however, free to continue cheerleading for Israel all you want. Or, if you prefer, you could add something relevant to the discussion. I have tried pointing out facts to you ..but you are incapable of learning the history of the area. Do I think the Israelis have done some bad things... yes... OMG.. not cheerleading for a moment.. go figure... BUT the things their enemies have perpetrated for the last 100 years have created the situation. The Arab support of Germany and it efforts to exterminate Jews comes to mind and the atrocities against Jewish people by their Arab "neighbors" also comes to mind.. But you can’t come to acknowledge those historical facts or current events. You can only spout propaganda from those who wish to destroy Israel in any way they can. I have said it before... IF Israel put down their arms and tried to live in peace they would be exterminated within days.... If the Palestinians wanted peace and stopped attacking Israel, peace would break out for a few moments till Iran.. Saudi Arabia.... Syria.. or a host of others stepped in to continue the work they started.... Their support of Hamas and Hezbollah and their desire to finish the job they started back years ago in their own countries will continue. How many Jews are there in the countries that are trying to wipe Israel off the map again???? How much land and wealth did those countries take from the Jews they killed or ran out of their countries…ANSWER 3 times the amount that the Palestinians lost… the ones who ran away because they could not tolerate living in Israel and did not stay and become a part of Israel like some of their Arab Neighbors.. who did stay and are living there to this day in peace… when the Arabs in surrounding countries will let them. Would you care to offer any facts with your rhetoric? Math tutoring available. Only $6! per hour! First lesson: Factorials!
  17. what i'm talking about is that the UN is not an unbiased body and its resolutions cannot be taken as fair. Specifically, I was asking about the "show trials." To what trials are you referring? Your correct about the UN being biased. Since Israel is a full member, and Palestine is not, the organization is inherently biased in Israel's favor w/r/t to the interests of the two groups. The pro-Israel bias in the UNSC is far stronger. Math tutoring available. Only $6! per hour! First lesson: Factorials!
  18. Can you elaborate? It sounds as though you are claiming that criminals are inherently unable to act rationally, at least during the commission of a crime. If that is what you mean, upon what evidence do you base your assertion? If that's not an accurate interpretation of your assertion, can you please clarify? Math tutoring available. Only $6! per hour! First lesson: Factorials!
  19. Memory/hard drive storage space is like closet space. You can't have too much. Math tutoring available. Only $6! per hour! First lesson: Factorials!
  20. What are you talking about? What does that have to do with the UNSC? What is typically known no matter what is that the US will use its UNSC veto power to prevent Israel from being held accountable for their illegal actions. Math tutoring available. Only $6! per hour! First lesson: Factorials!

  23. Actually, US veto power is the primary thing that keeping Israel from being held responsible for their illegal actions and war crimes. Math tutoring available. Only $6! per hour! First lesson: Factorials!
  24. oh, I know, I know. it's the country who has an automatic majority against it of 22 arab countries, 56 Islamic countries and usually the 118 Non-Aligned countries. they can pass a resolution that the earth is flat. it doesn't make it true. You seem to be confused about the makeup of the UNSC. Math tutoring available. Only $6! per hour! First lesson: Factorials!
  25. Which version of Israel would you like pointed out? Should I include the illegally occupied territory, also? Perhaps you'd care to tell us which country has violated the most UNSC resolutions? Math tutoring available. Only $6! per hour! First lesson: Factorials!
