    Well when the guy says he wants to take them away it makes perfect sense.... Just like how people had a run on twinkies. Personally, I bought an M1Garand, an AR lower, and a Ruger LCP. I also bought 100 AR mags. If a ban does get passed, I have plenty of Mags and if the price gets high enough I'll make a killing. I did not, however, buy any twinkies.

    As long as they use that tax to improve public shooting ranges (like they do gas taxes and roads)... I see no problem with a nominal tax on ammo.

    Perfectly legal as long as you don't sell it. Giving it away is a gray area. But it is PERFECTLY legal to make your own gun for personal use. Nope, the LOWER is the registered part of an SBR/SBS. I have several and my form 4 or form 1 has the serial number of the LOWER... There is no serial number for an upper.

    Said out of fear, with no understanding of history. The DOJ stated before the ban that less the 3% of crimes were committed with guns that were later banned. Care to list how many crimes have been committed with these 50 cal 'sniper' rifles?

    It has happened in the other parts of the world and it has happened in the US already at least once. So if it has been done, it can be done again. You may not like the 2nd, but the SC has ruled it as an individual RIGHT.

    I don't know enough about the disease to comment on this specific case. But, if the Dr's are fairly sure she will not relapse and they would call her 'healed', then I would see no issue. However, if they are not sure then she she should not be allowed.

    Canada disagrees with you. You do know that criminals are not going to register weapons right? I guess we could end drug crime by just requiring that dealers get a license then? The police are also in favor of being able to stop and search anyone for any reason.... Does that mean it is a good idea to let them? Then you are fine with random stops and searches... I mean if you have nothing to hide, your have nothing to worry about.... Right? So, do you support random stop and searches?

    Yes there is still hope that people will quit blaming the object and instead look at the users. The fact that no one applied does not mean much. Most people living in dorms are under the age to carry a gun. By the time a person is in their 2-3-4th year of school, they normally do not live in on campus housing. When will your kind realize that a gun is an object?

    The data is either good, or bad. Removing your personal bias aimed at the person... Is her advice on target or off target? If we take your ,"someone who never (did 'X') should not being giving advice".... Then Obama should not have ever been allowed to run for political office since he had never done it before. And someone who has never been poor should not be allowed to have an opinion on what we need to do to help the poor. I tend to think that good ideas are good on their own merits.
