    At this point now that Trump is solidifying his hold on the R party the only thing that can turn the situation around is a true thumping of them in November. If people turn out it could happen.

    There is truth in that. When you get down to it about a third of the people will be voting for Trump. The other 2/3 s can stop him if they can be bothered to.

    The outcome of the election is largely up to the will of the American people. Yes, I know the Electoral College slants in favour of whoever is the R nominee but even so in a semi-democracy the people get the leaders they deserve. If Trump gets in again who is to blame? It is not the media or the corporations. Neither of these vote. The people vote if they are so inclined. It is just freaking mind boggling.

    Now what? Biden is called old and infirm. Then he goes and basically confirms it. Is it too late to find a qualified D candidate? Yes, it probably is. A second Trump term is looking more and more likely.

    I'm pretty sure we all know and knew that the narrowly decided CO ruling would not stand. It is going to be overturned most likely unanimously.

    That is because you are laser focused on your anger over the feeling that someone may get something you don’t feel they necessarily deserve. And are completely unwilling to acknowledge the advantages you have and did nothing to deserve. It is an egregious form of entitlement.
