  1. In some places some people believe there is a good reason..... In Judaism, Christianity, and some other Abrahamic religions, the commandment to "be fruitful and multiply" (referred to as the "creation mandate" in some denominations of Christianity) is the divine injunction which forms part of Genesis 1:28, in which God, after having created the world and all in it, ascribes to humankind the tasks of filling, subduing, and ruling over the earth.[1][2] The cultural mandate includes the sentence "Be fruitful and multiply and fill the Earth."
  2. This just popped up in my FB feed.
  3. If an 18 year old wants to go to the bar and drink why should the government get involved? Apparently people mature very slowly in America compared to the rest of the world.
  4. The age of consent is 16 all across Canada. What is it where you are?
  5. It still does. Most choose to ignore it.
  6. That would be a new accomplishment, not a new technology.
  7. Of course casting aluminum is not new. The technique pioneered by Tesla a few years ago was very new, and cutting edge in mass production. And is now being adopted by several other makers. No one is claiming Elon invented fire. Innovation in manufacturing is always done in steps. https://insideevs.com/news/673158/tesla-giga-casting-manufacturing-becomes-mainstream/
  8. Well….. they ain’t gonna sell much of that fancy software tech without a fancy automobile to wrap around it. So I’m not really sure where you are coming from on this. In the end the product they sell needs to move people from one place to another. So far no one has managed to do that with VR, so as far as I know they are a car company.
  9. Assets? Good luck. People who sue DZOs are dreamers. And Bill Dause likely is more of a manager than an owner. I think someone is suing the Boyds as well. They also have no assets.
  10. Clearly he has been too successful for his own good and is not fully equipped to handle it.
  11. None in mud huts. There are some close to third world conditions on reserves though.
  12. Where I live if you made those choices for your children you would most likely attract a lot of attention from certain social agencies. Or perhaps you would be Amish. For sure you would be doing a poor job of equipping them for life in the modern world.
  13. IDK. I'm not an Elon or Tesla fan and I don't follow the gossip about it. I'm just saying what makes sense. But the vehicles you mention would fall right into the "cutting edge" category in my mind.
  14. They want to build cutting edge vehicles. Not fuel stations. For a while they needed to do both, but no longer. It is among the first signs that the industry is beginning to become a little more mature.
  15. They have announced more loads for Friday and Saturday. https://www.facebook.com/skydiveperris1
  16. Someday I hope to sit down and drink with you.
  17. I guess the kid is no longer off limits in the daily discussion. He has now been dragged into the fray. https://www.cnn.com/2024/05/09/politics/barron-trump-delegate-republican-national-convention/index.html
  18. Or....you could just check the actual Skydive Perris FB page where they have the details posted. Just sayin' https://www.facebook.com/skydiveperris1

    Enigma

All true FWIW. But religion seems to be less dominant here nonetheless. And while I agree the monarchy is a concept we would be better off without it is just a figurehead and the king is essentially powerless.

    Enigma

Yes, religious persecution can never happen again.
  21. Russia is an enemy. Ship nothing there.
  22. Speaking of scumbag politicians try reading up on all the sins of the biblical legend King David. Famous for killing Philistines and taking their foreskins as trophies. Many wives and children. Puts that Mohamad who Winsor loves to slag to shame in the debauchery department.
  23. The earliest known Jewish history, Egyptian records are from 1200 BCE. Which goes a long way to explaining why no one ever speaks of the conflict 10,000 years ago.
  24. With all this talk of killfiles going on I can only tell you that some people don't make my killfile simply for the same reason train wreck films are popular. I know it's wrong, but I can't look away from the entertainment. Sort of like the reason clowns are popular.
