Or, congress could get its shit together and pass more clear laws instead of relying on bureaucrats to regulate.
-
He has shown up periods of time that are up to a half hour or so. We are talking about another 4 year term in an extremely stressful and important job. It is reckless for the D party to foist this upon the nation. He is going to lose bigly if he does not bow out.
-
Yes, some octogenarians would be able to do the job. But Biden has shown good reason to believe he is not one of them.
-
Yes, and Trump was in fact pretty much at his best. A very sad performance with very bad implications from both.
-
Unfortunately what they are saying appears true. The only reasons to vote for Biden at this time all have nothing to do with him being effective as a leader. And there is no reason to believe his decline will not continue and good reason to believe it will accelerate. And he is likely to drive so many voters away that the party of darkness will do far better than it should.
-
It’s nice that he can still stand at a podium and read a speech from a teleprompter. But that won’t be enough to undo the damage. Nor should it be.
-
If the D party dares to nominate Biden in spite of the fact that he clearly is not up to the job then they deserve to lose. Good luck America. Maybe God will bless you.
-
I’m guessing (hoping) his candidacy will not survive this debacle. My pick is Amy Klobuchar. Not that I have a vote. You?
-
Bernie is 82. But still coherent and looks good in mittens.
-
Trump vs Clinton rematch? Bring in RFK? The mechanics of choosing a nominee who has not been through the primary election process could be either a positive or a negative. A fresh face could possibly be just the ticket to demolish an extraordinarily week DJT. The D party is quite likely to tear itself apart working through this.

He will be under a lot of pressure. Jimmy Carter only served one term. He is still eligible.
-
Right now there seems to be a choice for people to make. The chaos and carelessness of Trump or what essentially appears to be some sort of caretaker in the Oval Office guiding what is left of Biden's mind.
-
Unfortunately there seems to be two dotards running. May you live in interesting times.
-
No thanks to the round reserve. And I would not have them in my rental fleet either. Many DZs won’t even allow them.
-
PD uses a machine not available in the field to test the porosity of the fabric. Most canopies sent to them seem to pass the test and are then approved for a varying number of further repacks and or jumps.
-
Yes I did. You just didn't see it.

Voter qualification measures have a long history. SCOTUS probably could find a way to make it possible to exclude the intelligentsia from imposing upon the common people.
-
Somehow you think this is useful and not a PA?
-
She is great theatre and has great name recognition. The people want to be entertained. The same reason so many R primary voters like the dotard. Run off elections would certainly help.
-
Where are you? The first step would be to contact a local rigger if possible.
-
Actually, it is you that is mistaken and it is well established law. LEOs are not hired to or required to lay their lives on the line. And they do all they can to avoid doing so as a general rule.
-
Of course I would. But do I have a right to expect that?
-
My understanding is that while they may die on the job they have taken no oath nor committed to place themselves in danger to save others. It is not their job to take a bullet for you or your grandchildren. Their job is to enforce the law by bringing lawbreakers to justice. And that is dangerous enough all by itself. There has been a fair amount written about this misunderstanding of the role of police in society. Even the military members that they are sometimes mistaken for are not in the business of saving members of the public. Their focus in battle would be to save only members of their side.
-
Police have good reason to be afraid. Perhaps politicians who aren't afraid may be the longer term answer.

I’m responding to the idea that better protection for schools could be a solution.
