The neo-cons sure did a number on your nation. The hubris is hard to believe.

Sigh….. the answer is yes. Get one.

Agreed. If Biden were to resign as POTUS she would get the job for the remainder of his term. If he drops out as a contender for the nomination then she is still his VP, but that is all she is. She was his choice and she goes down with him when he drops out.

Biden, Ginsberg? No one seems to be able to tell powerful people it's time to go. Like I said earlier, if the D party foists this choice upon the nation then it deserves the result it will inevitably see.

I've seen plenty of fast paced Trump blooper type edits. They are funny and the make him look like the buffoon he is. Biden edits show something a little more sad. I don't envy America its choice. Happy 4th!

I was struck by the refusal of the DoJ to release the tapes of the interviews. Probably because Biden sounds very old and confused in them.

How hard can you buck the trend? UK moves hard to the left in a huge landslide!

Does the special prosecutor's report begin to make sense now? https://www.newyorker.com/news/daily-comment/the-impossible-role-of-robert-hur Hur’s report stated that his investigation “uncovered evidence that President Biden willfully retained and disclosed classified materials after his vice-presidency when he was a private citizen.” Yet Hur concluded that “the evidence does not establish guilt beyond a reasonable doubt.” He reasoned that “at trial, Mr. Biden would likely present himself to a jury, as he did during our interview of him, as a sympathetic, well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory.” In Hur’s view, “it would be difficult to convince a jury that they should convict him—by then a former president well into his eighties—of a serious felony that requires a mental state of willfulness.”

Pump up the stock? Didn’t he have a little trouble with the SEC over that?

There is also little to no reason for it. Voter fraud is a difficult and low reward activity with a fairly high penalty attached.

Just in. Biden thinks this will help to restore confidence in him. I shit you not. Biden tells Democratic governors he needs more sleep and plans to stop scheduling events after 8 p.m. https://www.cnn.com/2024/07/04/politics/biden-governors-sleep/index.html

Of course not. Words like that are only for outsiders, and of course enemies.

Mostly because not everyone entitled to vote holds a photo ID. Most of us do. In Canada a government issued photo ID is the easiest way to vote, but other methods can be used. https://www.elections.ca/content.aspx?section=vot&dir=ids&document=index&lang=e

Born in Thailand to an American father and a Thai mother. Can you say "birther"?

On July 4th an important election is being held in the UK. It just happens that it is somewhat controversial that photo ID is required for in person voting. https://www.bbc.com/news/explainers-64877005

Tesla stock started rising when Musk started talking up the bright future of AI and robots it will be selling sometime "soon". I'm not a believer, he has a history of manipulating stock prices.

That would be one way for Biden to regain the advantage.

If you have a total and do not pull your reserve handle your AAD will fire and your MARD will release it's hold on the reserve bridle allowing the reserve P/C to deploy the freebag and canopy in the usual way. If you pull the handle on time the same thing will happen. The MARD releasing is accomplished in different ways depending on the manufacturer so the exact sequence will depend on the design. The specific information for each is available on their websites. MARDs add considerable complexity to reserve deployment systems and require careful attention from riggers. Manufacturers go to great lengths to make them as foolproof as possible. It is regrettable that once the container is closed there is no way short of opening it to check for correct rigging.

I wonder how long after that happens will be the calls for a holy way in the holy land?

The reason it was kept quiet was that there was never a single plan made at any one time. It came out of a conference in 1942 and it grew from there. For most of the Nazi era it simply did not exist. It was actually "the Jewish question" and the final solution was so named because it was seen as the answer. After that it was indeed kept as quiet as a wholesale organized slaughter of millions of innocent people could be. Because they all knew it was a crime of immense proportions.

I also believe the parallel being drawn by Bill is largely over stated. Mostly because the circumstances of 1930's Germany were so very different from today's America. But the comparison is interesting nonetheless.

I have many far more irritating people in my life. I suppose you could occasionally be considered "Irritating Light".

That's it man. Always look on the bright side of life!

Canada was not really a nation then, just a colony. In reality it was mother England and some of her native allies who taught them a lesson in politeness back then.

Three or four new thirty something Justices! Too bad Manchin is still a senator.
