  1. Shoot freeflydrew a pm... fellow mac user, xplane user, and yolk user!
  2. according to their website, their provider said they reached their bandwidth limit so no more videos... also apparently some teams declined to submit additional footage.

  4. A I can honestly say that I knew them way back when... whimper... whimper Seriously though, we always knew that they were bound for success! Awesome! -drew
  5. First, thanks for lesson in quoting/misquoting and it's apparent effects on an arguement/discussion that I've already said I'm not too interested inpursuing... Second, Your paragraph beginning with "Negative" (Quoted correctly above) is exactly what I'm talking about... News reporters, do not get a free ride to say whatever they want... It is normally one sided and sensational... And, they normally don't publicize blatantly negative things about the decisions that their own gov'ts have made or are making. Thank you, have a wonderful day! Go Halliburton!, the most straight lined company in our nation! Down with the BBC.. how dare they call themselves a news company?
  6. of course... this is a strange thing, though... It's probably the way that this operating system handles the html from the dz.com buttons. Hey, at least I don't get viruses!
  7. I didn't intentionally omit one word for the cause... I wasn't quoting, I was paraphrasing, and I don't think that including some or excluding some really changes the jist. You don't see the problem here? Really? And, we'll never know if there were other companies better suited to take the role that halliburton took since the bidding never happened! Let's not trash the bbc... ALL news reporters are skewed, and report things from one perspective, including our own. I really don't want to get more involved in this arguement/discussion... Everybody cross your fingers for nice weather this weekend!
  8. I'm definitely placing the cursor correctly... I suspect the problem is Safari... Which is the only problem I've seen with it so far. Oh well! (I'm running 10.3 Panther and IE sucks on the mac)
  9. Halliburton was handed the contracts without the normal process of bidding... This is because of their connection with Cheney, and not because of some convenience... C'mon now? And... only the countries who outwardly supported the attack on Iraq were/are accepted to compete for contracts. Sources from worldtribune.com, bbc.com, news.google.com, cnn.com... Dirty!
  10. They could get gas for 98 cents or less from Turkey or another source, and the money that the us military is paying with is from the humanitarian funds... Dirty business... dirty business.
  11. When I type a message and click any of the buttons below the text area (code, reply, quote, b, u, i, email, url), the code always shows up at the very end of the message... Even if I place the cursor right at the beginning, it always inserts at the end! Any thoughts? -drew
  12. HA HA HA!!! Dude, you've got to post a picture of the hood of your car...c'mon, show Simon the love! LoL (half brakes for some things, rear risers for other things)
  13. My bad!!!!!!!! I was misinformed! I'll never post again!

    atmonauti...

There's plenty of people who are good at this! Head over to Chicago in the summer and I bet someone out there could show you... Head over to Perris and someone out there could show you... Repeat for Eloy... Repeat for Florida... Go to France or Spain and you'll see it... I bet that you could find people in Texas too!
  15. Nobody notice the dz.commer in the pic??? It's our own Ron! Always got to make the shout out to the dz.commers!
  16. The coolest part is the "silver bullet"... or is that the "Wind Tunnel" Aaaagh, I forget which one that is, but either way, it's a beaut!
  17. Camping isn't too bad, but bring layers for the night... alternate motels in casa grande worth looking at (20 minute drive) balloon is 65 bucks, but it's not the dz who charges you, it's a local named burner... Eloy is a party... There are stores within 10 minutes from the dz... LA is around 6 hours?
  18. Not me, and not the best example of stitching, but, I posted it anyways!
  19. not an incident! perhaps general skydiving would be more appropriate? Greenies gonna get ya!
  20. That is a Stiletto 120... It's one of the original freefly clowns old canopies... (Charles Bryan, now FLyBoyz)
  21. There are a lot of improvements, so here a couple of the things that stand out for me... The first is that everything runs much quicker. Photoshop launches and runs tasks noticiably quicker. The PrintCenter has been renamed to the Printer Setup Utility... One thing that I missed from os 9 to 10 was the desktop printer icons. Well, they'ver brought that back, and given you the opportunity to add the printer to the dock. The whole printcenter has been revamped. The finder windows have a new area to the left where you can see favorite folders, and all mounted discs.. .It makes it much easier to navigate. Just like exploring a folder in windows, only nicer looking. Fast user switching is dope... Go to the top right, click on your user name and switch to another name, and the entire screen rotated like a cube to the other users account screen. All the programs are running, and there's no load time at all. I use one account to mangae my music, and the other for work... it's super cool... They've also added expose... this is a new way of navigating through your open windows... WINDOWS USERS READ THIS... So basically you assign a corner of the screen to activate expose when the mouse is brought there... Lets say you have every program open on your computer, and every program has 4 windows open in it. Trying to manuever around your open windows is a real pain in the butt... Well, just bring the mouse to that specified corner and induce expose. All the windows on the screen will shrink down enough so that you can see all of the windows in every program at the same time (they almost tile across the screen)... As you bring your mouse over any of the windows, the window title lights up so you know what you're bringing the mouse over... Expose remains active until you click on one of the windows and it becomes the window at the front. It makes vavigating windows much easier and much, much quicker. The system preferences have been revamped, and the network preferences pane is especially improved. And from a technician point of view... Apple's Remote Desktop Client comes automatically installed on every operating system, which is especially nice since I use the remote desktop administrator on a daily basis... Remote management is very cool with mac os x panther. A little less than two weeks left. -drew
