I also think that would be nice... Some pointing devices that I use it is no big deal to scroll to the top of the screen, but sometimes I'm on a computer that makes it a bitch and I'm too lasy to use the keyboard, But it wont kill me if we dont see it... Opinions wanted about a 2-step RSL procedure

5,000ft, 3,000ft, ... You really have no idea what you are in for until you have your first malfunction.. I would keep it until you have one. Should you ever need it? No.. You shouldnt think that you need a device only when you pull lower (or ever), if you do think that than dont pull that low. I used one when I pulled at 5,000ft, and 3,000ft, and it wasnt until after my second malfunction that I decided to get rid of it (although I'm about to have skyhook) -
Great idea, this way when following a conversation you can just hear bits and pieces of it, mabey even re-post something that somebody else already said so everyone else has to read the same idea 2, 3, or 4 times.. Having people cut out of the conversation you wouldnt even be able to follow what everyone is talking about half the time.. Seriously... FGF #??? I miss the sky... nope, it's someone crying out about your lack of knowledge of basic statistics, Ron. The rest...well, it's good fantasy. But you don't need 3000 jumps to do simple math. And most of us dont need statistics to realize that current jumpers probably are a bit safer when compared to those who are less current... It's just the way it is, math is irrelevant in this case, IMO. I also think that math would show the same if given accurate numbers to use. Dont think your going to find those accurate numbers though. FGF #??? I miss the sky... There are 10 types of people in the world... those who understand binary and those who don't.

What is the scariest thing you ever saw a student do?

I think that would be my first AFF 3 jump, ... The one that I went into a panic out the door of the plane, secondary AFF-I released, I grabbed onto my primary AFF-I with death grips out of control until something like 7,000 feet (I may have some of the details messed up, but it was something like that) ... Then on deployment had one brake that would not release, but didnt chop, landed it anyway with poor canopy control, and very nearly hit the side of a hanger on a cross-wind landing... .... That jump sucked. I think I'm lucky that I am still able to jump. I failed AFF 3 that day. I still hear about it at my DZ to this day, .. turns out I scared the shit out of my AFF-I .... Sorry bout that FGF #??? I miss the sky... There are 10 types of people in the world... those who understand binary and those who don't. -
Kinda what I was thinking... I always hear people talking about "Peel, Pull" ... I only have two cutaways, one of them I did the two hands on one handle method and the other I did one hand on each handle, ... But I didnt peel on either of them, and I had no issues pulling the handles. FGF #??? I miss the sky... There are 10 types of people in the world... those who understand binary and those who don't.

I know that I always point my canopy perpendicular to jumprun with the risers as soon as it opens, and I keep it flying that way until I see the canopies for the group before / after me.. Not looking to get hit by someone who left the plane after me anytime soon. FGF #??? I miss the sky... There are 10 types of people in the world... those who understand binary and those who don't.

I've let people use my rig a couple times... When I give it to them I unpack it first (usually done with a jump) and hand it to them unpacked, they are responsible for the rig until it is handed back to me.. Giving it to them unpacked makes it impossible for blame to be placed anywhere but with the borrower. I've also made sure to make sure they understand that they are responsible for anything that happens during that time FGF #??? I miss the sky... We dont have the option of landing out, very safetly anyway, but I also do not turn... On a tracking dive I plan on pulling higher (aprox. 5,000 ft) because I know i'm going to open in a shitty spot, just part of the dive
-
Most tracking dives I've done we get out first, our jump run is usually east - west so we track south.. usually.

i dunno, they keep changing it... I know that more than one address and port all goto the same place... Both seem to take me to the same place (just tried the one you listed.) FGF #??? I miss the sky... There are 10 types of people in the world... those who understand binary and those who don't.

My car does something simular to this, 2003 ford escort ... It seems to idle fine, but when it's cold and I start trying to drive it will jerk the f*ck out of me (it's a stick) the engine just kinda run idle run idle when I'm trying to accelerate... This was a problem when the car had few miles on it, almost new, they replaced the throttle body and it went away for awhile, but now it's getting worse... I still got a few miles left on the warrenty, gonna make them look at it again FGF #??? I miss the sky... There are 10 types of people in the world... those who understand binary and those who don't.
