    Yes this certainly is an issue. It is too bad we have backed ourselves into a corner. Right now I am looking at it in more of a theoretical ideal point of view, rather than practical.

    The reason the USA has so many nukes is because Russia and us wanted MAD. (Mutually assured destruction). That is why we have nukes. North Korea does not need nukes to keep safe like we did. My Marine friend has been to the DMZ between north and south Korea, and told me quite a bit about it. First, the Korean war never stopped, it is just under a cease fire. Second, the North has an extensive tunnel network, that extends all over south Korea. They could pop up in a moments notice and take over all of the south. Second, they are continually at the ready. My friend looked north with a pair of binoculars and they were already looking right back at him. These guys are ready to go at ANY TIME. Their ability to stay underground for long periods of time, recently acquired long range missiles with nuclear warheads, and a leader who is fucking crazy, have many people concerned, as you should now see. Not quite the same as the USA.

    Well I still believe the word marriage should be reserved for a man and woman. I doubt my feelings about this will change, and it is unfortunate that that means others will be treated unequally because of it. This is why I advocate making all weddings=civil union.

    Yeah the tests they do are weak, and the doctor is half retarded, but still entertaining somewhat. My friend is into it and I usually watch it with him. It does have humor factor with the dude's faces under slomo.

    I am against same sex marriage but only because of the name, in my mind marriage is only between a man and woman. What I think should happen, is that the state should only issue civil unions, to both hetero and homo couples, and everything will be perfectly fair. It would be up to the couples to assign themselves the word "married" and not the state. If a same sex couple said they were "married" I would disagree, but technically nobody would be married according to the state. Let the individuals decide what they want to call themselves, not the state. Anyways, I think this is as fair as it will every get, while satisfying the greatest majority.

    Hahaha. Whats funny is that I know several police in the San Francisco bay that have illegally configured assault rifles, loaded, in their home. If they are doing it, it shows how they feel about keeping loaded weapons at hand.

Moral of the story, don't run from police when you know you are not going to make it (A minivan, friggin A!). If you know you can get away, then get away RIGHT NOW and end the pursuit quickly. The longer it goes, the more chance you have of being caught. If you don't think you can get away, then just pull over and take the punishment you deserve anyways.

Trying to figure out how much damage (direct, and collateral from selling off unneeded items such as food) my wallet is going to take to have maximum craziness at this most excellent boogie. Woot! I can taste the beer already. Well, I am drinking one at the moment, but uh.. whatever. you get the idea.

    Not to mention that means locking and unlocking the firearm every night, if you want real security. Firearms owners know very well that guns are dangerous, and although there are exceptions, most are very safe about their practices. What needs to happen, is firearms owners making sure that guns are not left loaded, out in the open. It is fairly simple. If you want to keep it loaded for defense, put it in a place that is not visible, or easy for a kid to find. I think that if it is sitting in a desk drawer, this is fine, because if a kid really does steal it and use it to hurt themselves or others, they could have just as easily done it with medication, chemicals, etc etc. Kids do need SOME amount of intelligence to not get themselves killed.

    No I am just giving a for instance. There is no possible way to lock up a firearm that proper tools cannot defeat. I couldn't find the exact wording of the law, but it is called child access prevention (CAP) and goes like this: California - State law holds gun owners responsible if they leave a gun easily accessible to a child under 18 years old and the child uses the gun to injure or threaten someone or the gun is taken to school. So it depends on what "easily" is, and if you should have expected a child to be there. If your house is a daycare, don't leave guns laying out, kinda simple. But in a home where children seldom go, and in a room where they should never be, its up to you to take the risk I guess. Better to leave only unloaded long guns out, that way they can't sneak them into a school as easily, and unless they hurt self/others (no ammo) you should be ok. Still no good to have a kid with your strap though.

    No spark, ok, well measure the voltage of each wire going to one side of the coil (the small wires, not the big spark plug wire) compared to ground. One of those wires needs to have +12 volts on it when the ignition is turned on. If one of them does, then it is going to be an issue with the grounding side. Take the other wire (not the 12v one) and touch it to ground. You should get a spark across your plug. If you don't, then it is an issue with the coil, plug wire, plug cap, or plug. If you do, then you need to follow the wire downstream to the ignition device (Im not sure what you are using, it may be CDI, or points, etc) But you know for sure that the wire is going to be getting connected to ground to cause the spark, and that it isn't. Hope this gives you something to work with

    Yeah I saw that too. Wack. Hollow points are probably not as affective against bullet proof vests either, so you think they would instead try to ban solid FMJ's. The law about a kid getting ahold of your gun is already in place, exactly how you have worded it. I do believe it has some leeway though, if a 17yo kid breaks in your house with a lock picking kit, and uses a disc grinder to remove your safety lock, brings his own ammo, and then shoots himself, that is something that nobody can protect against. (Without being home all the time or a security system)

    Yeah I can see now that the retaining plate would have been allot easier, all you have to do is rotate it down, but all I have is that clip. O well, I guess we will see how it holds up. I used some dental floss for the spring, but the angle it pulls down makes it very hard to have the rear leg of the spring on the bho tab, so I put the leg of the spring onto the tab last, probably making it way harder but working nonetheless. I gotta check out this notch you are talkin about!

    They burned you for 18 months, don't let them burn you for the rest of your life. Some things you gotta let go. Make your position known to the public (which you have done quite well) and forget about it. P.S. Sell the rig to someone in france, that way they can fuck over their own country.

    Haha. Fuckin A. Still though, how bout keep the gun out instead, and simply say "keep your hands right where they are now, and if you move I am going to shoot you." If he moves, blow him away. If not, wait for another officer to get there and cuff him. No need for a kick to the face.
