questions for iPod (or other brand player) owners
Superman32 replied to The111's topic in The Bonfire
Earphone covers? I've never used them and have never seen anybody use it The earphones are the only problem with the ipod. I've gone through about 2 or 3, so now I got some Sony earphones that are much better and actually block out most ambient sound. Inveniam Viam aut Faciam I'm back biatches! -
Really old and slow people that find a need to go to the supermarket, voting, post office, etc, when most people are going to work or at lunch time Inveniam Viam aut Faciam I'm back biatches!

Just tell them to hold on, I had some bad chinese food, but I'm really interested in what ever they are selling so could they start again.... If you're doing a tandem, you may not be allowed to wear a hard helmet. If you are doing AFF the DZ will provide everything you need. Doesn't Sebastian have a gear shop? Inveniam Viam aut Faciam I'm back biatches!

Yeah, I got the torrents via IsoHunt. The problem is that it's soooo slooowwww...while it does while it does give you full downloads, it takes days. I think the max speed was 12kb Inveniam Viam aut Faciam I'm back biatches!

That crap doesn't work for me. I switch with no problems. Hey Mnealtx, becareful with the aspirin, I've read studies saying that aspirin, tylenol, etc when mixed with alcohol can lead to some liver damage. Water is great and puking when you have to is essential to keep the hangover away Inveniam Viam aut Faciam I'm back biatches!

Yeap.. Really nice coments "I hope he dies on landing" or "he deserves to die" What a bunch of jerkoffs Having said that there was one good comment: "If he survived,im sure he went straight back for skydiving again. Thats what they do." You betchaa! Inveniam Viam aut Faciam I'm back biatches!

What is a good FREE file sharing site. I'm currently using LimeWire and it sucks... any suggestions? P.S. I would never think of stealing music/video/programs from those sites but I would occasionally sample it before I go and buy the full version Inveniam Viam aut Faciam I'm back biatches!

Post your quirks!!! (The talk about yourself thread)
Superman32 replied to windcatcher's topic in The Bonfire
A single long strand of blond hair is still disgusting but far more tolerable than anything else. I had a GF that when ever she washed her hair (brunnette) she would stick the loose strand to the wall -- it drove me crazy if I ever saw her doing it, or if she forgot one or two in the wall. here's my neuroses: *I'm extremely clean, but also extremely messy *I really don't like food that is very hot -- a often end up putting ice or cold water in my coffee *I like cold pizza and chinese food *Food must be separated and only the borders should touch *I'm completely and entirely disgusted by loose hair strands, clipped nails (detached), very long nails even if still attached, and detached teeth - Dentures aren't so bad - but broken/loose teeth, urgh... *Despise roaches *I won't poop anywhere other than my house except in very extreme situations where if I don't I'll be wearing it -- but hotels are ok I hate pineapples, I get grossed out even seeing some else eating them -- They are evil and disgusting Inveniam Viam aut Faciam I'm back biatches! -

Glad you got it back, but listen to this shit. This is a friend of a friend story from Brazil, but reliable and known to have happened before... This person's new car was stolen and driven across the country and just left on the side of the road. The car's owner gets a phone call a few days later saying that her car was found abandoned with no damage. The owner went to where the car was found, notice that was really no apparent damage and drove it home (across state lines). Shortly after getting home, her car is stolen again. The car was once again found, but this time it was found near by and unlike the first time , it was now stripped. Apparently the first time her car was stolen it was filled to the gills with drugs. The owner ended up being a mule and driving it cross-country, to have the shitbags just go and retrieve the drugs after she got home. I agree with Clay, if you take, it keep it. Another nice article about Sara on the New York Times today. It even has a very nice picture. http://www.nytimes.com/2005/07/06/nyregion/06parachute.html? Sky Diving Was Passion for Woman Killed in Midair Collision E-Mail This Printer-Friendly Reprints By JENNIFER 8. LEE Published: July 6, 2005 When Sara Marie Loshe graduated from high school, her father took her for her first sky-dive some 20 miles away from her home at Freefall Adventures in Williamstown, N.J. Skip to next paragraph After Sara Marie Loshe graduated from high school, her father took her sky diving for the first time. When Ms. Loshe finished her first jump, she took off her gear, marched into the office and asked if they had any job openings, her mother, Sandy Loshe, recalled yesterday. "They told her to fill out an application," Mrs. Loshe said. "Three days later, they called her." That began Ms. Loshe's five-year love affair with sky diving and Freefall Adventures, one that ended tragically on Monday afternoon when Ms. Loshe, 23, and her boyfriend, Ron Samac, 33, of Wesley Chapel, Fla., collided in midair as they were practicing for the National Skydiving Championships later this summer in Perris, Calif. "I prayed every day for her to be safe," Mrs. Loshe said. "It's very difficult to stop your children from doing what they love." Since her first jump, sky diving had become the driving force in Ms. Loshe's life. She moved to a trailer on the same street as Freefall Adventures; she and her mother had recently begun choosing curtains. Her first job at the sky-diving center was packing parachutes, but she had just become certified as a tandem instructor, which allowed her to jump out of a plane while attached to a student. She surrounded herself with people who shared her love of diving. She had just made her 1,300th jump. Glenn Bangs, the staff manager for Freefall Adventures, said the accident was a result of diver error, rather than equipment failure or improper procedure, a view that was shared by investigators. The Federal Aviation Administration inspected the equipment yesterday, said Detective Lt. Joseph Kohn of the Monroe Township Police. "All the equipment was working properly, all the certifications were up to date," he said. "It's an unfortunate accident. It's like pulling out on the highway without looking." The two victims and a third diver, Yonaton Ran, were practicing for the national championships, Mr. Bangs said. As they soared through the air, they practiced twisting and turning into various formations before they pulled their parachutes at around 2,000 feet. Sky-diving landing areas, like airports, have accepted patterns of descent. At Freefall Adventures, the default was to make left-hand turns as the divers circled the landing area, unless that brought the diver outside the safety zone. The collision occurred when Ms. Loshe's boyfriend made a right-hand turn while she was making a left-hand turn. They were about 200 feet from the ground - too close to disentangle themselves or to pull their reserve parachutes. Ms. Loshe was a born-again Christian, as were her parents. She signed high school yearbooks with doodles of crosses and fish. First among her likes listed in the yearbook was Jesus Christ, second was Bible study. Her career aim was "to serve God in all I do." Mrs. Loshe said her religion gave her strength to deal with her daughter's death. "She died doing what she wanted to do," she said. "She's flying now with the angels." Inveniam Viam aut Faciam I'm back biatches!

Yonatan, Words cannot express the shock and sadness that I feel. You have my deepest condolences. Sara was the personification of all the great things people say about CK and skydiving. Tandems,AFP students, regular jumpers and visitors we all got at least a wave and a smile from Sara. Her willingness and ability to go out of her way to make everyone feel welcome is unmatched. I cannot picture her face without that contagious smile. We sat across from eachother in the otter on Sun. where she was telling her very nervous tandem that she was 24 years old ... oh nooo...she corrected herself she was only 23. The last thing she said to me was that she was excited about having bought a new A/C but did not have a chance to install it yet. She wanted to do it that evening or on the next day. I hope she the chance to install it. This a horrible tragedy. I did not know Ron, but my condolences to his family and friends as well. Sergio Inveniam Viam aut Faciam I'm back biatches!

Tandems will also make you more confortable with the idea of thowing yourself out of a plane, which in turn, may help you concentrate on things that need to get done. Things won't be surprise. Tandem can also a fun ride where you can relax and enjoy the experience while learning quite a lot Inveniam Viam aut Faciam I'm back biatches!

Cross Keys? What's that all about ...
Superman32 replied to Cemolo's topic in Events & Places to Jump
*I did may AFF there and CK is about 100 miles from me and I still drive there. There a couple of closer DZ's but I rather dive the extra distance. *Gear can be rented at both Square3 or manifest for about the same price of around $30 per jump or $60 per day. Gear rentaland packing is included during AFF. *If you decide to do AFF at CK, and you only live 30 miles away, you really should try going there during the week. Weekends are very busy and most instructors are with tandems, and while you can still jump its unlikely you'll get more than 1 and if lucky 2 jumps a day. *A great benefit of going to a large DZ like CK is that once you are able to jump by yourself the number of jumps you can do is limited only by how fast you can pack because the loads are non-stop all day long. I'm bored so I was doing a search on something and I came across a threat on nicknames from 2001. Anyway, here is what has me dying One of the funniest things I've read -- Written by Greg: Re: Howdja getcher nick? [In reply to] Quote | Reply -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- DISCLAIMER- I HAVE A SICK SENSE OF HUMOR Well...it was a cold winter's night back in the later days of December of 1969....my mother was rushed to the hospital.....and thats when it happened, I did my first night jump, it was a "static line" out of a "beaver". I would assume that there was careful consideration on the nickname I was given, they called me.......Greg!! That nickname has stuck with me for my entire life!!
