Maybe greater clarification is in order. Hopefully, I'll be starting medical school next year, which will put me in REAL serious debt. While the entire school process is very intense and time consuming, I've been told by several students and docs that the first 2 years doing primarily book work, studying for boards and getting used to a new hectic life is specially challenging, and for that reason I don't forsee myself jumping nearly enough to maintain currency, hence the hiatus. The following years, while still busy, you can more easily fit in personal time, at least until residency. As for the unemployment, I will hopefully be starting a new job soon. My thought is that if I have the opportunity to get something that is made to fit me might be a better choice then finding an older rig down the road. It may also help with the rental cost. I haven't made any decisions yet. I might not buy anything at all. Just not sure if the cost of setting up rig by pieces may turn out to be more expensive. I may come to the opportunity to order a brand new custom container (infinity), no canopies and no cypress for less than 1k. I'm unemployed now, so I obvioulsy don't have a s-load of money to spend. The question is, should I get the container and get the other components later (used), or should I just ignore the container and wait until I find a full rig. I do want to get into freeflying so the used rig has to be FF friendly. Ohh, one more thing, if things go right, I will have to take a hiatus from skydiving for about 2 years (going to school)next year. Thanks Inveniam Viam aut Faciam I'm back biatches!

It's too hot to jump in a jumpsuit. I'm much more comfortable jumping in shorts and T-shirt. I don't own my own jumpsuit so the stuff I borrow from the dz is usually dirty and hot and uncomfortable. I do own a pair of birdman pantz but I trying to learn more technique before I use them on regular basis. They are fun though. Inveniam Viam aut Faciam I'm back biatches!
