    Another newbie question -- I see it here all the time, people asking to borrow each other's gear. Why not rent the gear instead of borrowing? Besides the money, is there another reason why you would choose to borrow instead of renting? Inveniam Viam aut Faciam I'm back biatches!

    I think it has nothing to do with the safety or professionalism of the I's and facilities, I'm sure it has a lot more to do with value of the USD and the national coin. If it were to cost $2100 USD it would be financially prohibitive to most Inveniam Viam aut Faciam I'm back biatches!

    I was a XKeys yesterday, and they're gearing up for the boogie. They should even have the bar done by then for the worse case scenario - bad weather

    I was just looking through the SIM and just can't find it. What is the general load/ exit order? ie big ways first out, tandems last. What's the order in between? Here are a few jumpers on my fictious load: solo belly flyers, 2 way bally flyes, free flyers solo and 2+, tracking jumpers, tandems, wingsuit ... Inveniam Viam aut Faciam I'm back biatches!

    I just came back from Xkeys and everybody there is super psyched for the boogie. It's going to be great, drunk fun BKDice, the weather this past couple of weekends have been really nice and warm -- NO EXCUSES Inveniam Viam aut Faciam I'm back biatches!

    Yeah, I got there around 11:00 and didn't get to jump until about 4:30 - 5:00. For most of the day, the winds at 3K were around 30 mph and nothing on the ground. Sunday, was super busy and with only the otter and chopper flying, I didn't get to jump until 6pm (got there at 1:30) hence only 2 jumps Inveniam Viam aut Faciam I'm back biatches!

    I just graduated AFF on Sat. and I have not had to repeat any jumps

    The question is not whether I can recognize the malfunction. What I'm wondering is why students aren't told to watch the canopy inflate. If someone waits 5 sec to b/f looking up and identifying this high speed malfunction a good deal of altitude has already been lost. Before people get flamed, I'm just curious. I'm in no way saying anything is better/worse/right or wrong. I don't know anything about skydiving just trying to learn Inveniam Viam aut Faciam I'm back biatches!

    I was just reading the malfunction thread and it just occured to me that we are taught to wait 5 sec after you pull and then you look up (I cheat and watch the canopy inflate). Couldn't the 5 sec count be a lot of wasted time with a bag lock mal? Inveniam Viam aut Faciam I'm back biatches!
