It happens yearly and is still far less than 2019 (yet) https://www.statista.com/statistics/186678/new-cases-of-measles-in-the-us-since-1950/ There's a lot of reasons to not like RFK Jr., but the Mennonites in west Texas are traditionally the reason . . . https://time.com/7262199/mennonites-measles-outbreak-texas-vaccines-explainer/

Hi. Man it seems like we've known each other for a couple of decades :)
  4. In post #30 - you said you were done with this thread. Here we are 11 posts later and . . . just be done with it.

Your forebears created the House of Representatives for a reason. So, even Don Lemon stated that DEI became a house of worship and if you didn't sing with the choir; you were out of the church. IMO; it was an enhanced form of race relations. Congress, not EO. Agreed. Who or how? My grandfather had to come over twice. First time, he was a WOP. Congress. Not EO GAC should be between children, parents and doctors and is really none of any one else's business. One of the issues with transitioning in the military is - once hormone treatment started, they were non-deployable for three years. That is the length of an enlistment, so for many they went in just to get the change (affordability). An issue which could be resolved with Universal Healthcare. Any? How do you feel about the physically disabled? You might want to expand on this. Did you vote FOR the revolting guy? If so; then he is "your guy."
  6. Leadership 101: Take care of your people. https://governor.maryland.gov/news/press/pages/factsheet-in-support-of-md-federal-public-servants.aspx
  7. And everyone came out in the evenings and knew their neighbors, no matter what ethnicity. They knew their neighbor's kids, they disciplined each other's kids and when they got home, they got disciplined again cause the neighbors had to do it. Our grandparents walked the same sidewalks as you and I did the same. I still miss the days of hanging out at Ryan Junior High School in Queens. More nights than not, the cops would come and play basketball with us. Everyone knew everyone. Block Parties. I miss those too.
  8. In no way. I'm looking to a future of bipartisan leadership. I'm going to flip to the Independent Party and from now on will be voting for the person. If they're too far left or right - I will not vote for them.
  9. If they show up to vote. Bill. ~ GovTrack. I looked at her record before the election. She is the past. I'm looking to the future.
  10. Morning, Jerry. I have every right to vote the way I want and shame is not a factor in my decision-making process. I voted FOR someone. A couple of you have mentioned that you would respect my vote more if I had voted FOR Trump. That would have made me fill icky. You guys were this | | close to having me vote for Biden, then he fell apart and you wanted me to vote for the puppet. You wanted me to vote for Harris basicially "cause I said so." That's not persuasion, that's intimidation.
  11. I do not. One who did nothing as a politician. Teachers do something. Plumbers do something Electrical engineers do something. Pick any vocation and they do something. That something however, does not make one qualifed for the prime leadership position of the country. IMO she was the example of Peter Principle. She's in the past. Keep dwelling on it and you'll lose future focus.
  12. And, that's partly why I voted, Independent, Jerry.
  13. Before you get too mouthy; you might want to compare Sen Klobuchar's first four years with Senator Harris' first four years. Similar backgrounds, major differences.

So that is the bullshit. If the Dems suggest it; the right is "They're coming for our GUNS!!" If the right does it . . . Hmmm, maybe we oughta look at it. I lean more to the Independent party each friggin day.
  15. Her job was prosecutor. Her policies as Senator were what? What did she accomplish? Not advocate, actually accomplished.

I thought you guys were in favor of red flag laws?
  17. Oh yea, I left out != anyone from Cali :) Who's your pick, Bill?
  18. What did policy accomplishments other than advocating and raising money?
  19. By that, I thought you meant it as one who did nothing but that and the felon.
  20. He was my first thought.
  21. Consider this a request for information. Who in the Democratic party would you put up in the next presidential election. I would like to vote for someone. Criteria: Fiscally Responsible Able to harmonize with both sides of the aisle. Statesman International respect. Demonstrated leadership. History of policy execution. War - if we have to defend ourselves.
  22. That's my point. This is where we're at.
  23. Democracy, my ass. An installed puppet of the DNC and a felon-conman. Those were our choices.
  24. Back to your old tricks, huh. Take one thing out of a whole string of conversation and play the gotchya game. Back on block.
