But, Keith can identify as a Trigirl :)

Personally, I give two shits about TikTok. Yesterday, Trump signed ANOTHER EO allowing TikTOk to remain another 75 days. It's now China threatening to shut it down. Sounds like they might have read, "The Art of the Deal" also. It's like watching two men at the pub rub penis heads and the first one to smile loses.

This morning - the market has lost a third of the gain from yesterday. From my persepective, I would no more buy stocks because Trump said so than I would bitcoin from the Hawk Tuah girl.

While I can appreciate the eloquence of your statement, the nature of the situation was misrepresented by the first media outlet, and the second, before a third posted the real situation. Looking at it from a different perspective, media one and two created more hysteria and fear than warranted.

All true. There is no such thing as secure communications using electronics.. Ask any of the alphabets that have been hacked.

It was an SPD swat vehicle. They increased school patrols after several school shootings.

What's the difference between arguing with your wife and a knife. The knife has a point.

It's security theatre at a cost of: $11.80 billion (2025) In 2015, TSA tested itself with undercover teams. They caught 5% of weapons smuggled through. In 2017, they tested it again - they improved to catching 30% of weapons smuggled. It's never been a good model.

Canada. Worked during Vietnam.

Why it works is; they are paid while in training. Most people start making money and they like owning thier own lives.

Wisconsin Works is an interesting program. One can only be on Welfare for two years. During that two years, they must get job skills training. The state pays for childcare, food, training, etc. during this time of transition. They have additional means of getting people help . . . https://dcf.wisconsin.gov/w2/parents/w2

I was jumping an Eclipse with a Icarus 365. Our rigger sewed a type of leg lift strap to put on the student's legs, so they could pull their legs up and hold them + I am 6'6" : )

When I went thru the TI course; it was "loosen the lower attachments." Course, butt slide landings were frowned upon then too.

@13.44 minutes into the video, he specifically says, the authors did not lay out a plan, it was more like a cookbook with recipes. Tariff chaos is not a negotiating tool. And, let's not forget that it was American businessmen who shipped the jobs overseas for lower wages to increase their profits. I doubt they'll bring jobs back for $3,000/month when they can maintain a $100/month workforce and no HR headaches. The only thing we'll see (are seeing) here is a recession and a "We're winning HUGELY."

You completely missed the message.

You're a crafty lot.

It is symbolic, but if no one ever pushes the rudder, the course remains the same. It will need to go to the senate, then to Trump for a veto. Rinse/repeat. It takes the first step for the entire formation to move in unison. I'm hoping we see more from our legislators - who right now are not, well, legislating, nor holding Trump accountable for circumventing the process.

Senate rebukes Trump’s tariffs as some Republicans vote to halt taxes on Canadian imports - a vote of 51-48. https://apnews.com/article/congress-tariffs-trump-republicans-a45b4d4da013e4ce1ce434b81337e3ec

Wonder if he'll have time to get to TSA. The most non-security security.
