I read Pritkzer's speech several times and decided to do some fact-checking. It would appear that it is very accurate. (links). When Trump mentioned going to DC, now to Chicago, it made me ponder on a couple of issues, 1) If a state is having issues, the first thing that is supposed to legally happen is the federal government contacts the Governor to see what type of support they need, and 2) the federal government does not get to just "take over" a state. There are laws that, 1) protect their emplyment if mobilized, and 2) They would face the UCMJ for doing it. The primary things missing in this country today are common decency and respect. Millions have come to this country to live under that flag. The military buries their own under that flag every day, Every Gold Star mother that has buried their child in some war is presented a flag. Oaths are taken with the flag hoisted, we lower the flag in honor of those that we deem leaders - of all kinds. Show some respect to the flag. Treat it with the reverence it deserves.
