You're welcome. Good luck. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

Brother, you'll get a whole lot more poontang in this life by looking a girl in the eyes, placing her face in your hand and whispering in her ear; than you ever will by verbally whipping your pud around like a set of nunchucks. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

I get that a lot from different angles. He was prolly 5'10ish, but he was also pulling his knees up into his chest getting ready for landing. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

Thanks, lady. Perhaps a freakishly big TB Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

First, it is F-H. Second, I like how you state better than I; Finally, I think I'm going to write the folks upstairs for clarification on the "I" on the "A" card since this has come up more than once and as is the case here, received as many different opinions. I'll communicate their response. Thanks, Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

Why aren't Riggers charging more for hard to pack reserves?
BIGUN replied to peek's topic in Gear and Rigging
I'd like it packed so that it works, please. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard. -
I'm not sure where the line of freakishly begins, so I'll just say 6'6" 250# and let you decide. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

Very nice. Personally, if I owned Mirage I'd ask to use that in an advertisement. Something along the lines of: "...because you need to concentrate on more important things at 14,500'" "We do more for cleavage than a wonder bra." "Let's see Victoria's Secret do that." Any others? First trip to Dallas DZ - tips, contacts, etc...?

Excellent DZ. Have fun. Talk with Bill about who to jump with. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard. -
First Rig container: Mirage, Icon or Infinity
BIGUN replied to Commanderfish's topic in Gear and Rigging
That's a pretty difficult comparative test. Not only does each manufacturer carry their own strengths, but the only opinion that matters is how one fits you. While you're at Eloy, they will be happy to let you try several. Make the decision that's best for you. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard. -
I can't help but wonder if there isn't more a sense of frustration on your part regarding the wind conditions, than the instructor. I'm having some strong problems with: I have been allowed the courtesy of attending their classes to learn differing teaching styles and methodologies and have never seen what you claim. Since you later in the thread allude to it not being a guy, then unless things have changed in the staff, the person you're talking about is one of the most respected instructors in our industry. For me, this does not give your claim much credibility. If you assert otherwise, I encourage you to do as others have suggested and contact the DZM. Otherwise, let's call this matter closed. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

I stand corrected. Some will. Some won't. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

Have to disagree. The manufacturers will accomodate the main and reserve to specifications. IF you need a 249-M and jump a 135, they'll do it. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

Private contractor as in you alone submitted the Scope of work, negotiated the contract, etc. - or are you working thru an outsourcing firm? Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

Could you explain how you can be an hourly employee on exempt status? My understanding of the FLSA is hourly is non-exempt and therefore entitled to overtime. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

We have two competing DZs on one airport. At one time it was one DZ and we all worked together. One of the AFF/I's decided to open his own DZ and initially; the nonsense began. So, I posted these rules on our DZ: http://www.tulsatandems.com/DZ%20Rules.htm As a result, we are now a complimentary team helping each other, rather than having an adversarial climate. Just last weekend, we had pilot issues. Skydive Airtight offered for us to bring our tandems down there and only charged slots for them. This weekend, I will be helping them with an overload of tandems using our rigs. It doesn't have to be a competitive environment, but it does take some focus from the leadership. In the end, the DZ that is the most encouraging and cooperative with others will either find themselves partnering up for a geater advantage of available resources - or with the most customers for not participating in that kind of nonsense. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
