  1. You mentioned "new computer." http://www.azpolonia.com/polishfonts.php?azplg=en Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
  2. BIGUN

    My mom rocks.

Did she offer the return trip too? Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
  3. And Keith is buying all the slots Okie Dokie. I haven't been the only man on the plane and patted on the butt by 25 women since winning the raffle for the TeXXas Pink Patch dive. Oh the horror... all those women making me walk up and down the aisle while patting my butt. It was brutal and degrading, I tells ya. So when's the next one!??!?! Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
  4. Nope. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

  6. Even more importantly for those wanting a low BBMSC Award number - To Date; there have only been 15 teams achieve the Universal Skydiver Award (USA). See criteria on www.scr-awards.com Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
  7. Better to have it and NEVER need it, than not have it and NEED it. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
  8. I don't see it as any different than any potential employer letting you know the educational or vocational requisites for the job. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
  9. So what's it gonna take... Some Okie to point out the obvious to you two jabones?!?!?! Have a TeXXas twenty way at Skyfest so we can all take a chance at getting the cool Maroon patch.... It'll look very noice with my Pink Patch Hat!!!! Bwahaahaaa Twelve jumps!!! I haven't jumped with you since the Bill Newell SCR jump for Turtlespeed and he's got over 600 now!!!! Whatchya need to go out on a tandem with me, some refresher training on the house, honey?!?!? I miss you too. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
  10. And therein lies the key. It has to be used as a method of instruction, not as an amusement park ride. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
  11. Any form of exposure to our sport isn't hurting it. Tandem provides an opportunity for those who would be marginal towards the other methods of entry to have an opportunity to experience skydving. AFP has an 85% retention ratio. I know of one person who did 13 tandems before moving on to becoming a student. Had she not had the opportunity to "work" at it in her own pace and way with Tandems, she probably would have never jumped at all. There is a quote attributed to Bill Dause, but I'm unsure if it's true, but it goes, "If tandem had come along before AFF, there would be no AFF." Whether he said it or not, it's been my experience that it's true. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
  12. True.... Your license minimum opening should determine your stop. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
  13. Yep.. that's the bottom line (no pun intended). Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
  14. And, therefore the question you have to ask yourself is...At what altitude are you done trying? Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
  15. Same commands and body position as Chuck. Triple rubber band stows on the last two (left side of the pack tray). By moving my body halfway out between the door and the hanging student, I block a majority of the wind on the S/L and by having my hand within a foot of the last rubber band stow feel as though I'm minimizing the amount of wind drag on the S/L for pilot chute assist, reducing the opportunity for a bag dump. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
  16. 1. Licenses and endorsements 2. Logbook (currency) 3. Parachute Harness (Pins, loops, three ring, webbing, velcro, condition etc) 4. Parachute Harness (Against all manufacturer's service bulletins). 6. Reserve - in date and seal # matches reserve data card. In the case of a visiting student who is passing thru and wishes to make a (or a couple) of training jumps with us... I'll actually call their instructor and talk with them. i.e., had a young lady stop thru in the S/L progression. Called her instructor and spoke with him to find out strengths and weaknesses and his recommendation for next jump... 17. If someone has the time and is very familiar with the the ISP/BSR/Categories, I'd like to request a technical scrub of my website. I just got done re-vamping the whole site for the new season and if you see any glaring errors in the AFP, Sl/IAD or AFF categories, please PM me. I've reviewed it a multitude of times, but as with any type of coding or typing could keep seeing the same errors, but *not* seeing them... Thanks... www.tulsatandems.com Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
  18. Won't that make Chuck around 80 when you retire?!?!?! Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
  19. I don't think looking like him is a bad thing. Man's done quite a bit in this life. Can't say as I agree with some of the things he's done, but I admire him for doing more than most. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
  20. You tell me.... Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
  21. Any relation to Jesse "the body" Ventura Glad to help. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
  22. Size matters. I think the limitation is 60kb. Did you get a red nastygram or just blow by it or just not get anything at all? Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
  23. Well, stop it. You're more than welcome to participate in any forum topic at any time. Only rule is to make sure you put the right content in the right forum. If you have a newbie question about something instructional; go to the Instructors forum. If you want to talk out loud about General skydiving stuff, go there, etc. You may wish to do a seach in a particular forum before jumping in to ensure it already hasn't been done. That help? Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
  24. 17 Family tradition - Grandfather, Mother, Father, Cousins, etc. Grandpa was an immigrant and chose to serve in the U.S. Army. He felt it was the right thing to do for his new country. Chose Army cause my Grandfather was Army. Have his orders promoting him to PFC in 1923. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
  25. If they are a student and did not pack the main, the DZ should pay (me, persoanlly, if they chunk the handles as a student and saved their life, I'll eat that to). If they are on student status, but have been signed off on packing and packed their own chute, they pay. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
