Museum of Edinburgh... 1638. 367 years old. Golf Guru - maybe 60? Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

Hmmm.... Snopes or a golf magazine over the Museum of Edinburgh. Who snopes snopes? Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

OK... so here's a trivia question... Why is a fifth of whiskey 750 ml? I'll give you a hint: Golf Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

While it may be the buyer's choice to NOT reline it and jump it as is... that doesn't mean the family wouldn't take legal action if something happened. In today's world, it's always better to write everything out and never need it, than to not write it out and need it. There was a time where I never worried... Times have changed and on a DZ other than my home, I treat my personals the same as if I'm at a mall. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

Cursory inspection at the end of each jump weekend. Monthly; while I'm doing my monthly maintenance, Rigger inspection every reserve repack cycle. Most of the riggers around here charge $5.00 to inspect the main and return it to me unpacked. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

Contact Aggie Dave and ask him how to get in touch with Mark F. at Aggieland. He's an Anvil Brother, but, I'm not sure he surfs dz.com... I don't think he ever got a number. Keith Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

Most common signals given to students are feet out and arch. That's a real hard one to give verbal advice for. It's not that folks don't want to help as probably 90% of folks suffered from having their feet too far up their butts. In this case what Aggie says is true. This particular problem is best solved in working with your intructors. edited to fix: to to too, I really hate that one for some reason. What would you consider to be the mecca of skydiving?
BIGUN replied to airdweller's topic in Events & Places to Jump
I didn't start till '81 so I missed that. But about a year after Muskogee, Bill C. bought Skydance and moved it over to Tahlequah. I had re-enlisted in the Army so I only got to jump there on leave. Lotsa them folks are still around. And, stories about them days still eminate.... Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard. -

Personally, I disagree with this statement, although there are engineering folks with more experience whose opinions are always welcome. First, in today's realm of freeflying; 1) pull-time is pull-time irregardless of body position, and 2) what if the FF'er is in a less than horizontal position and has etiher a main or reserve deployment. Second, at the very least - I consider it a load-containment strap. While the real bearng of load is on the main lift webs and leg-straps, does one want to go for less on the strap that keeps the main lift web contained during the opening sequence? But, I'm neither a manufacturer or rigger, I just played one on T.V. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

I have always appreciated those who offer veterans a discount. Even if I haven't used there service, I remember they offered. If I heard of a fellow veteran who did need that service - sent them that way. It really doesn't matter if you agree or disagree with the politics of war. What matters is that we remember that someone was willing to put their life on the line to keep their word, to do as instructed, whether or not they agreed or disagreed with the politics of war. They'll be the one's you can rely on if someone ever crosses our borders again - whether they are still a member of the service or not. You are to be commended for your offer. anyone ever have a tooth "crowned"/any dentists out there?
BIGUN replied to Newbie's topic in The Bonfire
You won't feel a thing. You'll have to wear a plastic cap till yours comes in. They numb you up again, take off the plastic cap. Stick on the new one, have you bite down and hold it. Worst part about it is the glue smell. Afterwards, your tongue will know somethings different for a few days, then you'll forget its there. Piece of cake. Jumping Hiatus... I want to WANT to come back (help)
BIGUN replied to gravityizsexy's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
Nine years in, then nine years out. I wasn't actually going to get back in, but someone at work knew I was a former skydiver and asked me to be the point man for a group of fellow workers who wanted to learn *team-building.* Contacted my old JM who now owned the DZ, showed up with the group, was offered the opportunity to make a jump and declined, asked again and said OK. Refresher was about five minutes and got on the plane to 5k for a Hop-n-Pop. Landed on the "X" and said, "I'm back." Ordered gear the next week.
