Don't get sucked into the drama. Call your daughter, tell her what you did, you're sorry someone stole the money and.... {can you resolve it by giving her the same amount} Focus on your daughter... What matters is the good memories she has of Christmas to pass on fifty years from now... Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

If you have that kind of time and the resources to do it, I would suggest going somewhere that will incorporate some tunnel-time into your training. Edit: I'm having one of those mornings where I'm one key off on the keyboard. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

WHy don't you PM Gravity Girl (Bonnie owns Gravity Gear) for a price quote on new gear - I "believe" she can get a bundled package in the $3500.00 range plus new Cypres. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

That's what I was thinking as I read the article. Plus, he's sharing his knowledge of the really creative smugglers with other law enforcement. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard. -
Being told NOT to check the spot!

You can pitch a rock out of an airplane 5,000 times; it's still a rock. Numbers impress whuffos only. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard. -
Not to mention the search function is our friend.... it's been posted at least three times I know of on here. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

That's a good deal and some great gear. Have you considered purchasing it, then talking to your DZO about buying new gear of your own design - I "believe" most dealers will allow one to put down a deposit, then you could sell this gear for about the same price when the new gear comes? You may want to talk with your DZO/Instructor about the different flying characteristics between the two canopies. Mass Storage Controller? Computer Geniuses Please Help!
BIGUN replied to everymansaved's topic in The Bonfire
Computer make & model, please. And is it possible for you to give us an exploded view of what you're looking at - like attached? Are you looking under the Storage Controller or the SD Host adapters? Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard. -

To add to what Mark said, there's been times that I've had to completely delete the device from the device manager and re-install the vendor's driver software from scratch. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard. -
I did not see you OP...sorry. Really can't argue with a lot you've said. Challenging the status quo is never a bad thing. If sidesliding winds up being the thing that works for you - great. It's your skydive. I too; am just a bit "adament" about PLFs. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

Whew.. man - my spelling sucks at 3 AM. And, you're right... sometimes, it can get a little overwhelming on the novice to get too much info especially if it's differing aesthetic opinions, rather than functional. Interesting. I'm in favor of recognizing "unity" to prevent discrimination. Diversity reflects on differences. Unity reflects on similarities. But, that's my own version of PC... Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

Mannequins and 55 gallon drums can't use their muscles to control the fall and protect the bones. I teach the real techniques by running off a platform in every class and I've also demonstrated it from the second floor of the DZ hangar. As one of the strongest proponents of teaching PLF's properly - have also had to execute one in front of the entire WFFC going 40 mph downwind. Five perfectly executed PLFs in a row, stood up, dusted myself off and walked to the packing area. Perhaps you'd be better off to quit trying to find the shortcuts and spend some time with an old round jumper or former Airborne to learn to do PLF's the right way. Or come see me... I'll give you the real PLF class - no charge. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

I've been called up three times. Each time my name has been called to sit in the box and when we're going thru vore dire (sp?), the defense attorney bounces me for some reason. . I just go downstairs and get some more reading in. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

Anvil Brother in the house!! RECOMMENDATION ON GEAR (Students or Novices should always speak to their Instructors first, then your rigger, then the gear dealer, then the manufacturer) Rig: WingsEXT (Made for those of us with longer torsoa). Mains: Safire2 or Sabers 229 Reserves: Smart 190-220, PDr 196-218, Precision rMAX 208. Your first set of gear should be all solid colors cause whether you stay in the sport or downsize over time, it'll be easier to sell on the secondary market. You'll be fine. There's many an AFF first jump student without the benefit of any tandems. You'll have an Instructor with you. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

I learned using the one hand on either side method. For awhile, I taught it this way. I've since moved to teaching the two hands grab cutaway method for two reasons, 1) we can do alot of muscle memory shit, but will a left-handed first time jump actually have that muscle memory or will genetic encoding kick-in, and 2) Had a big student on a large 229 with a lineover. After about three rotations realized he wasn't getting anywhere with one hand so used both. So... why make a future student have to come up with that decision on their own - instead of just incorporating the two-hands on cutaway method into traiing and being done with it.
