The last time I saw a VHS/DVD combio player in a wally-world, I "believe" they were running about 75 bucks. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

"I'm sorry, but the equipment is designed for those whose height & weight are proportionate." It was one of the first things someone saw while viewing the Tulsa Tandems website - which prevented 99% from even calling. It has to be politely mentioned in private if they show up to pursue the matter. In light of last year's incident and that not all tandem rigs have yet to be "Y" modified - it ain't worth the risk to take a round bottom - period. Fuck PC - I'd rather hurt their feelings and wind up in court with a documented case and precedent for not taking them; than bear the burden of not hurting their feelings and jeopardizing their body or even their life. For spyware, I think you've got a damn good package put together there. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

I stand corrected on the number of offerings, however, the full functionality is expressed in the fine print below... And will reiterate... "They do offer a total solution package - for a price, but the spyware freeware is just the hot dog for going to the car lot to test drive the car. " Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

Your request was for free anti-virus, not spyware... Two Different Fights. AVG's spyware is free, but is not an anti-virus. A lot of the application developers have some portion of "free," such as scanning, but the solution costs. For example, Norton will let you download any version of their trialware to scan your system & drives for viruses, spyware, etc. for free, but if you want them removed after the 15 day trial, you'll have to buy one of their packages Norton Free Trialware. Anyway, the point is... the _free_ AVG is an anti-spyware, not an anti-virus. They do offer a total solution package - for a price, but the free spyware is just the hot dog for going to the car lot to test drive the car. How slow can you go? (Tracking Question)
BIGUN replied to Chris-Ottawa's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
Not to mention the air density factor where you jump _may_ preclude you from reaching the lower vertical speeds ... but, even if that's the case - it would be all relative with your fellow jumpers, My best to Brad & Derek V. at the Tunnel. If I ever get more than connecting flights thru Denver and can get to the DZ, we'll have to put together an Anvil Brothers tracking dive. How slow can you go? (Tracking Question)
BIGUN replied to Chris-Ottawa's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
I'm 6'6" 260# I can regularly get to 89MPH on a track. Fortunately, with a long torso & legs have a considerable amount of surface area, but there is still a factor of weight. When I get down to my best flying weight of 235#, I can hang better with the shorter lighter trackers. Just as with any dive - when there are disparate sized jumpers on the dive, do my best to dress for success, but will occasionally drift below the formation from that factor of weight. If it's all Anvils, dive is usually on level and successful. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard. -

is there a record for most states jumped in a day?

Now, that I don't know. And, I'm not sure there's an official record for either. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard. -

No. There's Cell references (absolute, referential, etc.) that require the column and row headers to remain static. The only change ability I'm aware of is to change the column headers to numeric by: 1. Choose Tools > Options and select the General tab. 2. Add the check mark to 'R1C1 reference style' But, I don't ever use that because it's easier for me to see my cell references as alphanumeric, rather than all numeric. I received this from one of the members of the WWII Airborne Demonstration Team who jumps in Market Garden. It's being placed in SC just because some may associate it with current events... but that's not the message. I took it as a no BS, heartfelt thank you and video tribute and just thought I'd share. Ding Ding Ding... we have a couple of winners. First - it is not called the Veteran's Disarmament Bill, Second, it is a way of adding those deemed mentally incompetent to the NCIS database for the purposes of background checks. As any first year law student will tell you, asking someone who is mentally incometent to enter into an agreement is void (Form 4473)... Therefore, if someone who is mentally incompetent fills out the form and says, "Nope, I'm OK" and they're not, how does the matter get pursued and how do they find out while running the background check... Now, on the flip side - if you're going to fight this fight; fight with the right ammunition - entering one's medical history into a national database could be a violation of the goverment's HIPAA Act on Medical Privacy... there's your argument counselor. Skydivers are fair weather friends
BIGUN replied to shadowon's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
Here is the most distinguishing variable in your whole statement. There is a truly different aspect between military, military skydivers and skydivers. Each one has a core denominator associated with the value of "friendship." You (as did I) base our definition of friendship on our roots of military "Brotherhood." Military Friendship - is when even if I didn't get along with that person, they damn sure wouldn't have had to walk 27 miles to attend an emergency - because someday my life would have depended on them in a whole 'nother set of circumstances. Military Skydivers - same sense of brotherhood + the sharing of a common passsion for skydiving equals an even greater friendship based on both the military and skydiving and would have stopped skydiving in the spirit of the brotherhood/background to take you the 27 miles. Skydiving - for those with a military background can be observed as a "special" friendship. It's the closest thing they have to our sense of "brotherhood," however there are factors of intruding on their plans and being inconvenienced if it interferes with their skydiving or social plans. Now in all fairness, those of us with military background have an aura about our relationship that is offsetting to those who don't, so it's only fair that those without military backgrounds appear to snub us. I had an epiphany about this not long ago when it came to college brotherhoods. I went to a traditional four year college and grad school (after the military and being about 18 years older than the average student). I would observe that those who only had college had an intensity about their friendships as being on the same level of those with a military "friendship." And, I would observe that those friendships were considered equivelant to ours, but it wasn't... But, it's all they know, so they associate it as such. There's a saying in skydiving, "There are no friends below 2000'" I'm sure that's one of many things that got me bounced from the AFF/I course. I called bullshit (not a good thing to tell a Course Director) and said, "So, what you're telling me is that their check is no good below two grand?" We took on the responsibility for a student's life and by God, I ain't giving up till we get wrapped up in an AAD fire or I'm going in fighting for their life. Anyway, I ramble... Just know there is a difference, accept it for what it is and don't get all wrapped up about it. People in all walks of life place different levels on "friendship." Using your benchmark of military brotherhood as the baseline for all friendships that are really varying levels and types of friendships will change over the years. Wait till (and if) you see how corporate America views the word "Friendship." That's a whole 'nother type. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard. -
Endorsed, reinforced, and applauded. Regarding your list... the only change recommendation I would make is to place the Reserve as a purchase above the Main. As you and I agree - we ain't jumping the main; we're jumping the reserve. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
