  1. Could be. Well, we've all been discussing ways to get more positive things about skydiving in the media lately and I found it interesting that in the midst of those conversations, that banner ad would pop up on Google News. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
  2. Just sharing... http://openproj.org/ Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
  3. I kinda halfheartedly scrolled through the forum to see if this had been posted, so forgive me if it has been already. I was doing my daily ritual (9/12/10) of checking Google News for world events and as I scrolled down the page... saw a Google Fast Flip ad banner for Popular Mechanics that had an article on wingsuits (attached). Clicked on the banner which took me to the Popular Mechanics article. Just sharing. It would be interesting to know if that's what the world sees or if it's based on my query habits (I do not use iGoogle, nor store any cookies). Been using the same clean version of Google as my homepage since they were at Stanford circa 1997/98). Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
  4. Now, tell them what you were up against. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
  5. hehe... same exact thought. But, I do think you would make an awesome AFF/I, Dave. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
  6. In this economy, given the choice between buying a a depreciating asset or giving them the opportunity to pay off or significantly refi the appreciable asset; I would choose the latter. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
  7. They can help with that also. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
  8. Have you tried, http://fortjacksonmwr.com/lodging/ And, if you PM Matthew Cline, he can prolly help or at least knows the NCOIC of the parachute team at Campbell for recommendations on jumping. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

  12. When the Patriot Act first came out, an Attorney friend of mine and I went out to dinner and read it word for word. When we were done and had some vino, she and I were both just stunned at how unconstitutional the whole document was. We can sit here and debate the lack of privacy and by which party, but the fact of the matter is... our right to privacy is quickly eroding each day. It matters not which side of the aisle took the first peanut out of the bowl; what matters is that once the government takes that first peanut, they'll keep taking them one peanut at a time until they get the whole bowl and neither party is going to give any of those peanuts back. I'm not sure about by fellow dz.commers, but this one probably writes almost as many emails to my Congressional and Senatorial representatives as I do posts on here and hope that everyone here writes theirs at least once a month. They may not listen, but they know there's a voice. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
  13. 1. Said with a matter of fact tone, or 2. As in she had a bad day with the kids. If 1, then its time to go. If 2, then some support and talking with the kids about giving stepmom a break. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

  15. If for no other reason, it is a personal accomplishment in the book of life goals. How many people on the planet can say they've made a skydive; much less say they've made a skydive from 30,000'? Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

  21. Ya know... I read Rallfer's thread and had about a hundred one-liners pass through my head. And, then I remembered the rule about one-liners in the Womens' forum "sticky" (I just love that line) and thought to myself... Does the rule about one-liners apply to men answering women in the Womens' Forum only or does it apply to men answering men with one-liners in the Womens' forum also? Now that we're in BF: 1. If you have to go to a Womens' forum to ask them how come they are so complicated; won't you wind up with a complicated answer? 2. Maybe It's not that "hard." 3. Have you considered going gay? How complicated is that? Now, go have a drink.. get laid, keep it simple and uncomplicated. Trust me... It's WAY better that way. I'm on a roll... BARKEEP!! Whiskey for my men and beer for my horses!! Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
  22. I'm sorry, Brenda. But, I'm having a hard time believing that circa 1985 pic is how you look now. Personally, I think it's more about the portion of trim you get if fatso sends you the snail mail for $0.99. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
  23. GAO report submitted in February concluded that "The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (Recovery Act)" ("Shovel Ready" stimulus package) did little to help create jobs. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
  24. How many doodles could Google doodle if Google doodled all doodles on Google. ...Sorry, that's my contribution for the day.
  25. If he knew the information was inaccurate before the speech, but gave the speech anyway, then it's a lie. If he gave the speech without having prior knowledge about any inaccuracies, then it was a mistake. And, in the interest of "journalistic" integrity found out the information was inaccurate after the speech, should correct the mistake with a retraction and/or clarification as to how the inaccuracy occurred while reassuring that future information will be properly vetted. Ya know, like shit you learn when you're about five years old about making a mistake. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
