"Political Correctness" does nothing to advance cultural education or awareness. It only forces people to be concerned about and focused on labels. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

The etymology of the name is interesting. Its intriguing that replacing the sign for years was costing 300 EU until they made a more permanent solution. I wonder why the townsfolk don't just set up a sign store and sell them to generate money for the town soccer team or sumpin. Evidently, you bought the '07 while living in New England for the past three years and must have done alright. My suggestion is to pay off the the '07, get secure in your employment situation. You'll have paid down the car some more and have more of an equity position for trade-in later or can sell it yourself and/or keep it as a back-up ride. If you decide to move forward with the purchase.... also check what it will do to your insurance payments on the new car... Take that from someone who has two paid off vehicles in the garage and likes not having payments. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

Yes... and admittedly I usually pschyopacked a new canopy for about the first 30 or so jumps (to control the slippery little bastard) and then would go back to a pro-pack. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

Just for the sake of clarity, I too would roll the psycho-pack... Until one day at a boogie; Beezy (RIP) was looking over my should and said, "I never intended anyone to roll the canopy when I developed the psycho-pack," shoved me aside and took over. He then proceeded to demonstrate an overlap folding method by which the "fold/rolls" were about the depth of the D-bag and slipped it right in. Until then, my rolls would sometimes spit out the sides. Not saying the rolls don't work... but, you may wish to try both methods to see which you like better. The weight of the canopies is gong to pull down on the rear portion of the H/C and change, "the MLW is pulling down on the tops of my shoulders fairly hard." Some things to look at when you load the containers with canopies: 1) Cinch down the legstraps and stick your thumbs thru the hip rings. a. They should either, 1) touch your pelvic bones or be even but a little behind given your waist size (nothing disparaging, just an observation). b. If the hip rings are more rear than directly down your sides, then take a picture.. your laterals "may" need to be extended. 2) "Also, there is a good 2.5 inches of space between the two leg pads when I have my legstraps tightened as far as they will go." a. When the container is loaded, have a Rigger looking at the leg pads and "if" the legstraps are fully cinched to a stop (impeded by the leg pads) and you still have the same problem (creating some concern about "the hole"), then there are two options, 1) sometimes a Rigger can cut back the leg pads and re-sew the binding on the pads for less than the cost of shipping, or 2) will recommend sending it back to the manufacturer. b. And as to what fff said, that is true... but if you have concerns about "the hole" after you've done all this AND you are a freeflyer, then by all means, have the MOST senior rigger at your DZ take a look at it. Please let us know how it works out for you and please know that the manufacturers (of which I've owned most of their rigs) will help to resolve what it takes to make you jump safely. Highlee is correct... try it with canopies first. Then, if there's still an issue - contact your dealer. EDIT: The dealer would also tell you to put the canopies in the containers and then send lotsa pics if something is still not right. If you can afford the time and money; I might suggest you consider a 30 day vacation on the islands to ascertain which one you like best before committing. 30 days on St. Croix was about all I could handle - it's kind of a desert island. Other countries with awesome island-feel beaches like Belize, Honduras' Isles of Bahia, etc. are as tropical as one can get. I've always been partial to Belize. Luck... U.S. seizes sites linked to copyright infringement
BIGUN replied to quade's topic in Speakers Corner
You are correct. I had to review the ICE site and found... Cyber Crimes Section The Cyber Crimes Section (CCS) is responsible for developing and coordinating investigations, Internet-based immigration and customs violations. The CCS investigative responsibilities include fraud, theft of intellectual property rights, money laundering, identity and benefit fraud, the sale and distribution of narcotics and other controlled substances, illegal arms trafficking and the illegal export of strategic/controlled commodities and the smuggling and sale of other prohibited items, such as art and cultural property. The CCS is involved in the development of Internet undercover law enforcement investigative methodology, as well as new laws and regulations to strengthen U.S. cyber-border security. C3 supports ICE Homeland Security Investigations' domestic field offices and foreign attachés offices with cyber technical and covert online investigative support. Intellectual Property Rights — CCS has encountered thousands of websites based in the United States, as well as foreign countries that are engaged in the sale of counterfeit merchandise, including music and software, via the Internet. The CCS continues to work closely with the National IPR Coordination Center, the Computer Crimes and Intellectual Property Section at the Department of Justice and industry representatives to identify websites responsible for the sale of the counterfeit items.
