You need to get out of the fucking house now; make a skydive, get laid, go to a club, watch porn... The way I see it... As long as the ratings remain an evaluation process and not an Instructor Training Course, the issue will always be there. With an ITC, Instructors would be held to a training standard AND evaluated. Those I/E's would then have longer to train Instructor Candidates and there would be more time to coordinate audits of I/E courses to maintain their rating. He lengthens his supply chain to keep his business liquid and tries to appease his suppliers by using the liquidity generated by the delay to cover his debts. It backfires when customers start calling his suppliers to discover that orders have not yet been placed, then it all implodes. I don't know what Australian law says on the matter, and the OP certainly got screwed, but I doubt that gary took money with no intention of fulfilling orders but Karnage Krew should certainly stop the carnage now. Gary, Is that you? LOL, nice try. Sorry to disappoint but not everyone is baying for Gary's blood. He fucked up his business and lost more than a rig, you should keep that in perspective. If he's won then it's victory from the Charlie Sheen school of winning. You should put the amount of damage he's done "in perspective." If no one has yet to file any criminal charges (theft, fraud, etc.) and he files bankruptcy first, it's going to be harder to prove the criminal charge vs. just being a bad businessman. Yeah, after reading the other thread, it's criminal unless he's filed bankruptcy and then it's civil. My instincts tell me that he has not filed or the courts would have notified all the creditors during the process, so the Trustee could start working from highest to lowest. Not long ago, I was given a second chance to live a long and normal life. It reminded me of two things, 1) each day is precious; don't waste it, and 2) never take what you have for granted (not material items... experiences, family, friends, etc.). It took us all of eternity to get here and if we're lucky to hit that magic actuarial age of 74; when we leave we're never coming back. When we got here, we were naked and broke and when we leave, we'll be naked and broke. That means the only thing in between are the people with whom we share memories and experiences. First, if you can, delete the other thread or ask the moderators for assistance. There is something that everyone can do who has a legitimate complaint. I would hope that if one has been in the 100k range for the past three decades that they saved enough money and had enough networking contacts that they (alone or with partners) could open their own company and create more jobs.
