Re: [stemartin72] Triple Fatality - Ludovic Woerth
BIGUN replied to base283's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
it is a triple fatality. go read the other thread that was locked due to un-educated post like the first post here. If YOU go read the other post... the title was changed to "Double Fatality" by the 10th post. Anyway, IMO this whole thread should be deleted by a mod. Isn't it great to know that Slavery in the south is alive and well.

"Why Ford Drives a Chevy" 1. It is a much bigger issue and not just in the south. 2. When one is incarcerated; they are usually levied fines on top for recompense to a Victims fund (I get it). 3. Then the for-profits tack on a per day rate, 4. Even when they work within the system, they don't make enough for the per day rate, 5. So it goes on their account, 6. They get released through a work program and/or a halfway house for the transition, 7. The halfway house charges a per day rate, 8. That gets charged to the court, 9. Who then puts that on their account also, 10. If and when they get a job, they're lucky to make minimum wage, 11. The government takes the taxes off the top, 12. The court takes up to 40% of what's left to apply to the account, 13. Now, go forth and live on what's left. So what do most do? Go back to what makes them money under the table, They get caught, Go back to Step 2. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard. -
See what happens when you take God out of the schools? Chaos and bedlam are consuming the entire world! UV light waves are only the beginning. We have an inch of topsoil left, sexually transmitted diseases, deforestation, irreversibly progressive depletion of the global gene pool. It all adds up to oblivion, pal. Governments will fall, anarchies will reign. It's a brave new world. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

I think my biggest issue is with the outsourcing of incarceration. It should not be a profit thing. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard. -
Anvil Code #37 If an Anvil gets married; there has to be another Anvil present, otherwise the marriage never took place and is void. Congrats Guys... Anvil Brother #2 approves this message. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

Your "toddler" does push ups? No "Nose in the Corner" here. Little one does pushups!!! What is little? A toddler I think of as like 1-3 years old. I just never had mine try when he was less than 3 and I think kids that can do it that young have to be in a very high percentile in this. But as I said I never had him try back then so I could be way off. Still surprised though. Little'un is 6. She's been doing pushups since she was 4 and started getting lippy. She receives her Green Belt in Karate this week. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

The maximum size reserve the rig will house. I can't disagree more strongly w/ this advice. Yeah, why is that? Because I don't think shoving the largest size reserve that will possibly fit into your container is a very good idea. Too many reports of slow reserve deployment already. Those can't be definitively linked to container/reserve combinations but it is a leading theory that is at least one of the causes. When I need my reserve I want it to deploy fast and reliably. Also, putting the largest possible reserve size in there is likely to stress the container, look like crap, and be very uncomfortable. I never said, "...shoving the largest size reserve that will possibly fit..." The maximum size reserve the rig will house - as in the largest recommended by the manufacturer for that container. Let's recap before it drifts too far for the OP. First, one should determine their reserve first and build a rig around that. Second, now that the rig has been purchased without a reserve and that is the advice sought. Given an ~180# exit weighted jumper, And, that the main is a 190, it's highly possible that something in the 190 reserve range could be accommodated. Therefore, the largest the manufacturer would recommend - which would hopefully coincide with Airtwardo's and Michael's advice also - < 1:1 w/l Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

Would I be wrong in thinking that we are on the verge of a triple identification validation. i.e., Alphabetic + Pic + mathematical? (where pic might be equal to color or something?) Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard. -
I can't disagree more strongly w/ this advice. Yeah, why is that? Bigun, I think it should be the largest size that will not over stuff the container. Just because it fits, doesn't mean it is a good idea. I agree with this and did not mean to overstuff. Just the largest size the rig manufacturer recommends. since the reserve wasn't the top priority in the kit decision-making process.
