  1. Not true. The "cocktail" being used has not been properly tested and its source is kept secret. The whole affair is DISGUSTING, as are those who support it. Just think of it as retroactive abortion and you'll be OK with it. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
  2. One of my prohibiting factors in purchasing one is that a lot of the reviews I've read talk about foam memory loss after three years. Have you had an issue with that? Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
  3. Thanks, Jerry. That was funny and I hadn't heard it before. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
  4. I'm not here to argue and offered my opinion to the FAA back when the issue was up for discussion. I was for the 120 day repack cycle for the following reasons: 1. It's not just a repack; but an entire inspection of the H/C and a reserve repack. 2. A second set of professional eyes on my rig every 120 days is better than just mine. 3. There are a number of people that pencil whip their reserves extending an A.I.R to once a year. 4. The Rigger that places their seal on the rig has an added extension of liability to time. In the end, my opinion was overruled and - it is what it is. And, there's nothing that prevents me from still maintaining mine on 120 day A.I.R. >EXCEPT: Those crafty Riggers would raise the price of an A.I.R to maintain the same revenue threshold. Bastards!! 5. Or you can disable Flash. ETA: Not a great workaround - just sayin Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
  6. How often do you use your airplane parachute? How often would you want the entire rig inspected if you used it 300 times a year? Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
  7. I do. But, I find it disturbing that those who are elected by their district align themselves according to race when in the congressional seat. The Congressional Black Caucus should be put out to pasture. The age of Maxine Waters, Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton is over. To acknowledge that a "Black" Caucus is necessary is to perpetuate racism. To what extent? Racism is as dead as it's ever going to be. Sure, there will always be bigots. But, most see them for what they are. I remember a few years ago when Morgan Freeman was on 60 minutes to talk about "Black History Month." He didn't like Black history month. Mike Wallace asked him something along the lines of, "Well, how are we ever going to get rid of racism?" Morgan Freeman said, "Stop talking about it." Brilliant. The Congressional Black Caucus is an organization representing the black members of the United States Congress. Membership is exclusive to Blacks. What's wrong with this picture? Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
  8. The more obvious question is; "Why is there a black congressional caucus?" Shouldn't congressional leaders lead without respect to race, creed, color or national origin? Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
  9. And, it's always better to get less house on a 15 year mortgage; than more house on a 30 year. Your equity position grows within three years on the first option, than the seven - nine years on the second option. 10. Thats a new concept to me, we don't have that over in the UK. So am I understanding correctly that the fast food joints have a night where they get the parents to come along and donate 10% of the profit to the school? I'm surprised the schools participate in this. Are they public schools (As in not fee paying schools)? Yes - on both accounts. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
  11. Ya know... I'm opposed to the government legislating its way into people's lives, but you cannot believe the struggle as early as elementary school. When my daughter started Kindergarten, we got this informational brochure about healthy eating and good snacks and... I; as one on a plant-based diet was doing a happy dance that my education at home on eating healthy would carry on in the school. The "house rule" at meal time is we eat no more than four ounces of protein; no less than two vegetables, very little starch and you can eat all the fruit you want. Then it all went to shit the first week. the fundraisers for the school are ALL junk food business based. Papa Johns night, Sonic night, MCDONALDS night?!?!?!? etc. etc. in which 10% of the proceeds go to the school. Subway night? nope. Now, we don't participate; but the message to the kids to the parents has been one of shame for not supporting the school. In the end, I don't like that its reached this point; but am glad to hear it. And, this is just one of many reasons why homeschooling is growing seven times faster than public school enrollment. 13. It ain't the beer, Billy. It's the pickled eggs, sauerkraut and baked beans ya had for dinner.
  14. And, yet... somehow, somewhere things went way wrong. I blame the liberals. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
  15. Off to Lowe's! Well, me too actually. I just like Lowe's better. I just wish they had a tool rental department. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
  16. I disagree. First off I would not have an 11 month old daughter and if by some hellacious set of circumstances I did, I wouldn't see her or know anything about her after she went up for adoption. Second, I genuinely don't place the lives of children above anyone else, so the "for the children" argument doesn't really work on me, and is often used as the basis for some truly heinous shit. Third, even if I WERE the sort of person that worked on, I'd put forth for consideration that an 11 month old is not the one that's gonna be the most useful for a rhetoric vessel. Perhaps something that's more than a babbling shit and piss factory, maybe something old enough to have a personality. Retribution, as you put it, is neither necessary nor moral in my view. The morality aside, I'm curious how it could be "necessary" in any sense of the word? To get the person out of society? Prison does that. To discourage other people from doing it? It's been well-demonstrated that capital punishment is not an effective deterrent. To satisfy bloodlust stemming from an emotional response? Ahhhh, yes. There we go. Here's a fun one for you: What if the parent of the kid is the one who has to actually look into the eyes of and kill the offender while he's shackled and defenseless? I don't have any evidence to support my guess, but I bet most people wouldn't do it. Yet, you'll step on a cockroach for no other reason than to kill it? Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
  17. ...and? Killing people for "justice" doesn't revive or un-rape their victims. It's action based on emotion, which is rarely a good idea. There are those 1% of the time when I have no issue with it. This is one of those times. They were a young 19 year old girl and an 11 month old baby. If she was your 11 month old child; you would want what? Imagine this fucker takes your 11 month old daughter and tortures her by raping her and then kills her. Oh, let's just lock him up and throw away the key. Yeah, I'm sure that would be your response. Retribution for those who cannot defend themselves is not an emotional response; it is a necessary and moral act. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
  18. Mark, They changed their policy to disabled vets, so one must have a VA card with "Service-Connected" written on it. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
  19. Mr. Lockett received the death penalty for the 1999 kidnapping, rape and murder of a 19-year-old woman and Mr. Warner for the 1997 murder and rape of an 11-month-old girl. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
  20. Sex with animals is perfectly legal for men in Washington state, as long as the animal weighs less than 40 pounds. http://www.foxnews.com/story/2008/04/18/foxsexpert-us-sex-laws-amusing-to-just-plain-silly/ Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
  21. You know what I mean.. There's a bit of a difference between hopping around the Virgin islands within USCG distance at 8 years old having learned some things about safety, the ability to swim better, grab something to use as a float, a well-schooled grandfather that can smell a bad situation. And that, of being far enough out in the Pacific with a 3 & 1 year old that it requires USN transports & Special Operations teams to assist. Far better folks than this guy have wound up dead. You wanna do it yourself; then by all means you're an adult. Would you take a 1 & 3 year old around the world on a 36 footer? BTW... cool pics. You gonna take me out next time I'm up there? Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
  22. You'll love the folks in Texas. All great DZ's and hospitality. And, for informational purposes; TallGuy is Too Tall at 6'8" whereas, I am a paltry 6'6" We walk among them. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
  23. it is a triple fatality. go read the other thread that was locked due to un-educated post like the first post here. If YOU go read the other post... the title was changed to "Double Fatality" by the 10th post. Anyway, IMO this whole thread should be deleted by a mod. You are an idiot. You should read the whole post. You know where it says that they pulled Brian off life support. It would appear to be the case that it was originally entitled "Double Fatality" and when Brian passed: one of the moderators changed it to Triple. Simple out of sequence, different threads, postings and not being on here for a few days. Let's refrain from the personal attacks. Let's read all the info before making post that make us look like idiots. Enough. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
  24. Support the recycling effort.......feed the tilapia.
