I keep getting drawn back to the green one. Never ben a big fan of green for cars, but there's something about that particular shade that works.

It's amazing how agile we can get trying to protect he "boys."

Made a pit stop back at home for a few days before doing the second half of the trip. I love the clean and sleek look of your pony. While the S&S may not be Harley - it is still American Made and everyone I know that's put one in their pony has liked them well. Interesting trip for one of my Military Club Brothers. He blew out a tire in Grand Junction and we stopped at the Harley Dealer to have a new one installed. By the time we got to Jackson Hole he couldn't take the wobbling at 80 (legal limit). Checked it out and the dealership balanced it and put new weights on it - but did not take the old weights off. While in Bonners Ferry - well, you take your bike to the Tractor store or the Diesel shop for service. The diesel guy builds custom choppers and will only work on your bike after 5pm. So, one guy got a tire on his bike and the owner put balancing beads in the other guys tire (I was skeptical; but it ran great). Then we get to Butte, Montana and the same guy's air shock blows out. Had to spend a day waiting for the air shock to fly in so we could mount it. Couple of other clubs met us at the local watering hole and gave us a garage & tools to work on the next day. And his final good news for the trip was - We split up after the Cripple Creek Veterans Rally in Colorado. On the way home, my phone starts blowing up, so I know something is wrong and pull over to check it out. So, we got his tire fixed, his air shock fixed, and then I get this...

I submitted a proposal of solutions for consideration based on several of those other countries including the Canadian model. Additional steps to remove the existing guns, etc. All the liberals with the exception of TKH POOPOO'D IT. They don't want a solution. They just want to complain every time it happens and point at the GOP.

I-40 west of Amarillo is devoid of any interest whatsoever until you get almost to Albuquerque I ride that route 6-7 times a year. I'm not saying they don't work. What I'm saying is they are intrusive. I hate that they litter the landscape. That is my opinion. the engineers could have been done a better job of designing them to not be intrusive why is it a can in the middle of the forest offends people, but a big white thrashing machine littering the entire native American landscape is okay.

My only objection to wind power is the sight of 100's of windmills littering the landscape. One cannot take I-40 west of Amarillo and not see them for miles. There's not even the attempt to mask them into the countryside. https://www.pinterest.com/pin/165366617540276633/ The sight of them disgusts me no less than walking for miles through the forest only to see a McDonalds plastic soda cup laying on the ground. Maybe someone should call Dyson to see what he could do to make them more aesthetically pleasing.

You might want to re-check that. The only way was to generate revenue for those government agencies during those time frames was to increase taxes. It's not about earning your revenue - the Dems just add another tax without realizing that not controlling costs leads to a spend it or lose it mentality. Those of us in the military saw it first hand - We had to burn up our budget by October 1st or lose funding for the next year. Rick is right and/or I'll stand by his comments - nobody in a government role knows shit about controlling costs - if they did we wouldn't have an incremental budget process.

I have a bit of a disadvantage on this. Channel 6 News always runs a profile on the State's electors. I get it - it's very popular to hate the electoral college when the votes aren't in your favor.
-
Then, I must be a fucking genius .
-
Huh? Where is that in #68? Hamilton had nothing but praise about the electoral college. .
-
Of the some 125 "democracies" - 60 of them have some form of EC
-
And, that is why we have an Electoral College.

I agree. I hang around with a bunch of potty-mouth veterans. My little one & I have had the discussion about the difference between profanity and indulging in vulgarities for emphasis..

If I were going to get a color other than Black; that blue would be the one. I looked at that long and hard. But, there's so much after-market shit I can buy already painted vivid black; that I went in that direction (again). Nice bike. OK Jerry & Lisa - you can have your Corvette thread back

Morning, Rick. This may have to be my future direction or simply rebuild the 107 into a 124 or sumpin. I'm about to leave on an ~10,000 mile six-week trip. I would buy the new Harleys simply because I ride all over the country each year and there was a sense of piece of mind that I could pull into any Harley and use the warranty. As physical medical issues continue to punish the body; I may have to throttle back to riding around the state (or neighboring states) on a Road King, Wanna Go?

Exactly what I meant by "Cheap-Ass customer" in an earlier post.

Enjoy. You deserve it.

Skyduck - new mobile app for skydivers
BIGUN replied to Igor Kamenev's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
Well, Igor - You've done a great job with this app. Impressive that you thought to get USPA's approval for digital signing. It's great to see the world moving away from the old written jump logs. I have no clue on how many jumps I failed to log over the years. I do have questions (for my own curiosity) 1. Will a jumper be able to add notes to the jump (others on the dive, type of dive, record jump, personal notes. etc.) 2. When the skydiver breaks the phone - is all the info stored somewhere in the cloud by you? Or does it use the jumpers cloud (OneDrive, GDrive, DropBox, etc.) Bottom line: If we drop it and the phone is destroyed - how do we get the data back?
