My son was in Science class, 4th grade by the way, they were learning about comparisons, same different, etc. He was called on to "compare" two of his fellow classmates, they happen to be girls. He jokingly said that they are the same because they have cooties. he said it completey in jest, these two happen to be friends of his. The class laughed. This happened yesterday. I dropped him off this morning and he was promptly called into the Assistant Principals office. I asked if I could come in to. I had a really hard time keeping a straight face while this stern discipliarian kept saying the word Cooties. WTF? The AP acted as though my son brought a gun to school, if I wasn't there he probably would have been put in inschool suspension. WTF!? I can understand the whole disruption thing, the class laughing, even the girls laughed, they knew he was joking. Maybe writing a letter to the girl apologizing, but come on people!!!! Yep, I'll see it. I am leaving on black friday, heading to the "great" North East, for a HS reunion. Staying at my sisters house and we are planning a girls night out and doing dinner and a movie, thats the movie we are planning on seeing. I saw both actors on Oprah and they learned how to sing like, and sing period (neither knew how to) the characters they are portraying. Which I find very cool. You really have to think about what kind of tat you what, where you want it and most importantly WHY you want it. I purchased the Radio Shack version of the SR927W batteries and found out they're to small and thin. The altimeter is a time out, it's black, thin, and uses 4 button batteries.
