    My kids are good kids too, they deserve all that we give them and then some, BUT, as a parent I need to be able to say enough is enough. Don't want to spoil them and in this day and age, kids think that everything is "owed" them. Not my kids...every once in awhile they will whine, but for the most part they are great kids and know money does not grow on trees AND if they deserve something they will get something, if they are acting like spoiled brats and not doing their chores, ect. they get NOTHING!     Yeah I hear ya! I am not a cold weather person at all. Since living down here my blood is as thin as water. During the winter my hands STAY ice cold, my SO hates it.     I agree...I LOVE pulling the rabbit out of the hat, so to speak... Last night we told my oldest son, he was having problems in math, that he was getting a really "cool" calculator for Christmas.     Yeah but...its Christmas, right?! Once a year, good kids, etc....... My kids really don't get much in the way of gifts except, Christmas, their birthday, and maybe Easter (something small, less candy) so its all about them anyway during Christmas. You know?     My son wanted one of those......but he is getting a helmet cam from Digital Blue and my younger son is getting a Quad (older son already has one), so the money isn't there, but I don't think they'll really care.     Joe didn't go to full altitude, he went about 4500ft, trust me when I say my kids kept an eye on him, they thought that it was too cool. We have 450 acres he was bound to show up somewhere in the landing area, PLUS it kept my kids busy for quite awhile! This is the "full size" GI Joe doll, his chute was really big, saw it at Toys R US and HAD to buy it. Bobbi A miracle is not defined by an event. A miracle is defined by gratitude.

    I think you should hook a GI Joe doll up to it and see if it really works!! We did that at the DZ (dropped from the jump plane) last year when my kids got a GI Joe (at Christmas time) that came witha pretty cool chute.     We're all meeting at the local Cracker Barrell....yeah my skydiving buddies and family are making the mix well rounded. LOL!! I get to leave bright and freakin' early the next morning (be at the airport at 4:30, yikes). My husband doesn't "do" left overs as he and the kiddies are staying behind.     I have always wanted to head to your part of the country. It looks like such beautiful country, truly. I have "net friends" that I have known for years that live that way.
