  1. http://www.zoliblog.com/blog/_archives/2006/1/20/1716266.html so, what do you all think about this? Personally, I've wanted to quit using MSN for a while already, the only thing that makes me keep using it, is that so many of my friends use it. With this, though, I will be starting to convert my friends, and quit using MSN. I do not tolerate that my conversations are being censored, without me even being notified. The list of words that are censored are being kept secret.
  2. norway: required for students, optional for others. If you don't have one, you must have an RSL.. (if you have one, an RSL is not mandatory)
  3. only if the executioner sucks at his profession :) hanging IS painless, if done correctly.
  4. not quite sure what you mean.. Hanging and firing squad are painless, if done right.. thus a far more humane way. Most killing-methods used by US gov today are not. Oh, and may I suggest doing it in public? Revenge is what it's about, so why not show everyone..
  5. Yes, lets put anyone with responsibility for children inside protective bubbles, and moralize over everything they do. Parents should not be allowed to skydive, of course, what if a parent died? Would be horrible for the child. Ever seen a pregnant woman eating at mcdonalds? My god, clearly she doesn't give a damn about her childs health. How about drinking? Can't have that. Walking in trafficed areas? No way, think about the pollution, can't be healthy either. All these things can be avoided... And how about people in a poor economical position getting pregnant anyway? Point being that this is a question of drawing a line somewhere. What is acceptable and what is not? To quit smoking can be very hard. Maybe this one smoked alot and has now cut down, and you just happened to catch her smoking one of the few she NOW smokes a day? You are overly judgemental, I'd say.

    are men pigs

Thought I'd say people are pigs, but that wouldn't be fair... to the pigs.
  7. don't know, but wait a moment and I'll dig away a meter of snow and check

    Jihad This!

What's your national symbol? A lion. Which is funny, since Norway doesn't have any lions.

    Jihad This!

big claws, little brain... how ironic an eagle was chosen as the USAs national symbol
  12. if you feel like running, do it... I've had that happen several times, and it actually helped get rid of a beginning cold.
  13. thanks, im planning to do it myself this winter, with a sabre 170 .. and i was also wondering if using a snowboard would make it really hard, but you didnt see to have much trouble with that :)
  14. That test didnt say anything, but another (more thorough) test said i was avoidant. on the other page you linked to, i was advised to see seek professional help for (social) anxiety.. i also have borderline internet addiction, it seems. social phobia too (same as social anxiety?) ..um... what else.. *takes more tests* Goldberg Depression Questionnaire:Moderate - Severe i'll take some more tests later. nice page =)
  15. We are not talking about "doing business with". If a company has a factory in China, and it treats the employees well, then that company is actually doing good. If they start deciding what the employees are allowed to read, they are bad - see the difference? What you, and many others here, have said so far equals to "since everyone else is doing it, so can google". Google has for years tried to be "the good guys". Latest example is when they denied the US gov. access to their databases. They didn't have to do that. For this reason, it disappoints me that google agrees to cencorship. Now, how long do you think it takes before the internet starts being cencored in america? Hell, terrorist-friendly websites could pose a real threat, seemingly harmless websites can be used to send coded messages by terrorists, in a very effective way (For this reason, the CNN and other american media companies agreed to self-cencorship during the afghanistan war). edit: spelling, and such.
  16. It's nice to see someone with thousands of jumps saying these things.. Too many on dz.com is saying that skydiving is after all just another hobby. Well, not to me, it is way more. On our little dropzone at voss, norway, I dare say we have that cameraderie (spelling?!) you talk about. Perhaps because going back to the city takes at least 2 hours, so most arrives on friday or saturday and jump, party like hell, and those who are more or less up to it jumps on sunday as well.
  17. I agree with davidlayne: Cutaway! Don't let anyone put such restraints on you. At this stage of your jumping (sub 100), skydiving is the world to you (speaking from own experience only, of course). Don't let someone even try to take it away. Then again, I don't have a girlfriend, and I never did during my skydiving career, so I guess that is easy for me to say.
  18. i've been playing that all day now.. heh. got 1556km
  19. ..which reminds me of this one: What happened to the dyslexic devil worshippers? -they sold their souls to santa... :)
  20. I jumped with glasses as a student. I almost lost them once, but that was primarily because the goggles sucked. Now I jump without sight correction, which is probably less than optimal :) Will be getting contacts eventually, I think. But my eyes are really fucked up, so I'm not sure how easy that is...
  21. OLOLOLOL ^^ KTHXLOLWTF!!!!11122twotwo KK!11!1 (malaysian g4ym3r slang..)
  22. dc++ is really good, once you get it set up properly. WAY better than winmx, kazaa (from the time one still used it), and any other program i tried. torrents may be good for popular stuff, and getting entire albums instead of single songs.
  23. i think you misunderstood me.. I said that the belt can not match the speed of the wheels when the plane is pulled forward, so its an impossible task
