Sorry sweetie, I'm a bit of a dunce when it comes to computers so I can't do the clickies yet. Check if Adam Jenner is on tonight...he was the main one that I remember doing it. My damn eyes were bleeding for days after that one. I vote for the clicky option. I play on dz.com at work (sshhhh!) so a bunch of asses on the screen wouldn't go over well here. Are any of the skydiving goggles ok for snowboarding?

I just used my skydiving goggles for skiing. They were making snow and I didn't have my ski ones with me. They work ok, but it is a bit of a pain to get them to fit right on your face if you're wearing a beanie or anything else on your head. Send them with your friend, it's better to have them and not need them. Good luck. -

After reading all of the posts I am impressed with the overall responce (ie: I'll help if they really need it) That said, maybe I'm just not too jaded yet. If someone asks me for money then 9 times out of 10 I'll give it to them. My theory is that if I were homeless and begging on the streets then I would want someone to show me the same kindness. I have also had the point brought up that most bums use the money on booze or drugs. Well, if they do then that is fine. If I were in their place then I would probably be an addict too. I do not encourage addiction in any way, however who am I to dictate how a person chooses to live their life? I would rather help the person if they are willing to accept my help....if not, then take the 5 bucks I just gave you and drown out your misery for a bit. Yes, if someone close to me died in this incident I would be pained deeply. I would cry and mourn the loss of such person in my life. I would also still remain amazed at such a rare and beautiful occurance. It's not that I am cold-hearted...I simply respect Mother Nature in all of her glory and wrath! With that, ladies and gentlemen, I am bowing out of this debate. It's getting a little too heated here in The Bonfire for me. (did ya get the pun?)

All it takes is one look at the pictures of the aftermath to disprove this. There are photos of men and women screaming in pain and agony at the loss of homes, loved ones, lives, etc. No one is saying this is beautiful. A skydiver burning in is not thing of nature. If he goes in from a crazy stunt then you shed a tear and try to learn a lesson. I'm from coastal North Carolina and I have lived through my fair share of hurricanes. I have even lost my home to a hurricane, so what I'm saying comes from personal experience. The hurricane that destroyed my home was beautiful to me. I stood in the eye of the storm and felt weak just looking at the destruction and beauty that literally was going on all around me. I don't think using humor to deal with a situation is insensitive, it is simply a person's natural coping technique. Ane yes, I laughed at my own situation when we were trying to sort through what remained of our lives. Bombing for peace is like fucking for virginity! ~DEVIOUS BEEF~~FGF #69~

I have tattoos on the top of each big toe. One is a symbol for life and the other is a symbol for love. This way, when I look down from feeling blue, I have a reminder to live and love! But you're right, it hurt like hell. I wanted to kick my tattoo guy in the face when he started doing them. The only thing that stopped me was the reminder that I asked him to do it! I also have a tat that goes from hip to hip on my lower back. That wasn't too comfy to get done either. But hey, I love body art, the pain is worth it to me.

True, natural disasters do not come with an advance warning, but I believe they were shocked because early warning systems are in place in other parts of the world for just such situations.
