They have a skyride consumer alert and exact directions to the dropzone on their website, so I would say no. http://jumpindy.com/Consumer%20Alert.html

It was a beautiful weekend in Colorado! We were all busy jumping, skiing and doing anything but posting on the internet while you were screwing around in orlando.

It now sounds like it was a rope jump (more like a rope swing). They were apparently trying to swing through an alley between two buildings and missed. He had just started skydiving too. http://www.rockymountainnews.com/drmn/local/article/0,1299,DRMN_15_4304525,00.html There was a good graphic in the newspaper that isn't online. I'll see if I can scan it.

6 below in Lakewood this morning. The heater in our house just couldn't keep up last night. I had to put my down winter sleeping bag on top of my down blanket to stay warm. At least we've seen the worst of it. It's supposed to get up to almost 50 this weekend.

We had the same charter. I loved football games because the night before the game we would meet the team at their dinner and we would get to eat with them and eat the same food the team did before the game...that was some good food. Then we would drive the team off to a hotel for the night. The next morning we would go to the president's residence and pick up the high donor people (more good food there) and drive them to the game. We were given tickets to the game too. After the game we would drive them back to the president's residence, hang out while they mingled (and get more food) then drive them back to their vehicles. So we would get something like 12 hours of pay, 3 meals and a free ticket to the game on those weekends. Definatly not a bad gig.

You are probably getting the edge of what we are getting here. Current temp: 6 degrees - High temp for tommorow: 7 degrees

I had the exact same job!! It was one of the best paying jobs on campus. It was very flexible with my class schedule too. I drove the shuttle route between the dorms and the school about half the time and charter runs the other half of the time. The charter runs were always fun and interesting. They were everything from driving old people to a play to driving fraternities to lat night parties to driving the football team to their hotel the night before home games, to driving people up to the mountiains to go skiing (and getting some skiing in myself). It also had the added benefit that I got a CDL which came in handy when I was a raft guide.

Reading the media reports here in Colorado you would have thought we were in Texas. All they talked about was how good Texas played. There was maybe a paragarph in the whole article about how badly CU played.
-
yeah, it's been 80 degrees and not a cloud in the sky all week. shitty, isn't it? eh, that was yesterday. It was getting boring
-
yup pitiful wasn't it ....Or so I hear, I was busy skiing knee deep powder all day
-
I just got back. The drive up there was a pain in the butt, but it was well worth it. That has to be the best early season snow I have ever seen! We were skiing knee to waist deep powder all day. Powder skiing is just an amazing experience. I can't describe it...it's kinda like a silent freefall...sorta. We spent most of the day in game creek bowl and sunup/sundown bowls. They are set to open more of the bowls tommorow. I am completely worn out though. My legs don't work anymore
-
...at Vail last night for a total 40 inches in the last 7 days. and that is where I am going skiing today
-
I went to CU, I am a longtime Buff fan. Based on their performance last week against Nebraska and two weeks ago against Iowa State, they do not deserve to be playing in this game. Texas will probably demolish them. But upsets do happen. Go Buffs!

Yeah, I see what you are referring to now. I would have to assume they are pitot tubes, but I don't know for sure. I guess that would be the most logical place for a pitot tube. Here is a full size pic from the original image.
-
I didn't see any pitot tubes. Maybe you are seeing somthing I don't know about in the pic. If you are referringto the blue, that is painter's tape. edit: Now that I look closely, I see what you are referring to. They are the small tubes just below the net. I was looking for the size of pitot tubes you find on aircraft. I didn't even know what I was taking a picture of

Mine are very flexible. As a general rule, I work from about 8:30-6:30 mon-thurs and 8:30-noon on fridays. I like it. I can get 3-4 jumps in on friday afternoon and not even remember I worked that morning. I can pretty much set my own hours though, as long as I work 40+ hours per week and get my work done. I can work 10 hours mon-thu and take friday off too!

Here's a cool picture I found on the Airkix website. Our tunnel is begining to look a lot like this!
